This brush exudes quality! It's small but perfectly formed. I see they now make a travel version, but really this is small enough to tuck in your toiletry bag. It is initially quite stiff, but once you get used to it, feels like it really is doing something. My beard is only a month old and I'm no gorilla, but still find it feels good to brush through some beard oil. I would say it has all the attributes of any boar bristle brush and is a quality package. I've maybe had the odd hair fall out, but very minor. I just looked it over for this review and noticed a certain amount of dead skin in the bristles, so I guess it's really exfoliating my skin. Mine arrived after the itchy stage, but I would imagine it would be a relief during that period. I do find myself using it several times a day and it is always a pleasure. A little ritual and part of the enjoyment of wearing a beard. You can buy cheaper, but it brings a smile to my face whenever I use it, so it was worth it for me. Highly recommended. I received no advantage by writing this review. It's my honest opinion.

Solid little brush, very stiff bristles

Have had a reasonably long beard for nearly 3 years. This is the first time I have purchased a specific beard brush. After seeing recommendations and reading other reviews I purchased this. Smaller than expected but packs a punch with great firm bristles that also massage your skin without scratching. It has definitely made my beard more conditioned and I am very pleased with my purchase. It may seem slightly more expensive than other brushes but it is worth every penny if you are serious about the manageability and upkeep of your beard. Fantastic product.

I bought this beard brush after it came with a glowing recommendation following a web search for best beard brushes. My current brush couldn't cut it, the bristles too soft and unable to detangle my veil of manliness. I was not to be disappointed by this Zilberhaar brush. It is relatively expensive for a brush, but consider it an investment. Its stiff boar hair bristles make light work of my bushy number, detangling and leaving a soft, luxurious beard. The pear wood is lightweight and of high quality, allowing you to wield the brush like a finely balanced sword. Such is the confidence in the quality, you can register the brush for a 20 year warranty. With this brush in your armoury you will need no other.

Bought this brush as I thought I'd give growing a beard a go during this lock down, wife hates the beard so I'm keeping it! :) So went on line to see what there was about looking after my beard, and saw the advise about grooming your beard and again and again there was "get a good brush". To begin with I thought ok...then when I started to look on Amazon it became I little harder to decide, but in the end went for this brush. It's I very nice brush, smaller than I thought but still very nice. It was a big bonus to see it's made in Germany which is always a bit of a relief to be sure the quality is there. It comes with a "life time guarantee" and a leaflet on how to care for your new brush. It's made of bore hair (not plastic) and pear wood. All in all I'm very pleased I went for this brush and paid for the quality of a German product.

I've had different length beards for over 10 years now and never looked into a quality brush until now. The ZilberHaar brush is perfect for medium-long beards and I never thought a brush could solve my beard dandruff issue, but I was wrong. I haven't had any dandruff since the first use and it keeps my beard nice and tidy for hours on end. I was surprised at how small it was, but like other reviews, it ends up being perfect for the mustache area. I purchased the stiff bristle, which works great for my coarse thick beard. It's still soft enough to not hurt your face or skin, but strong enough to not get caught and glides through with ease. The handle is really nice wood and easy to hold. All in all, the brush is a quality product and would highly recommend this to anyone on the fence with other brands! You can't beat the price, cheaper than beard brushes found at discount places like TJ Maxx.

Nice small brush with stiff bristles! Perhaps a bit smaller than I expected so pay attention to the pictures. The bristles are a bit hard on the skin if you have a shorter beard but for the longer hair it works well. Overall a very good beard brush!

Pros: 1. Size is very handy and perfect. 2. Original boar bristle brush as the seller declared. At first you will feel it hard if you’re first time using any boar bristle brush. Once you will how to use the brush ad per your comfort, you’ find it very comfortable. Due to it’s boar bristles my skin is much exfoliated now than before and no deadskin/dandruff under the dense areas. 3. With beard oil it gives awesome hold to your stray hairs and give you a mascular bearded look. 4. Due to it’s uniform space between the bristles it’s very easy to clean with a help of any blower. Cons: 1. At first you may get a weird smell from the bristles as they are original plucked boar bristles (you can even see the follicles). But after one month of usage with beard oils the smell will fade away.
