Really good tyre for turbo trainer. A bit tight to fit but once once the wheel its perfect for your indoor turbo trainer.

This is the first proper turbo tyre I’ve bought, as usual (for me) I should have done it sooner. I’ve been using old road tyres but they are prone delamination and going flat. This turbo tyre runs much cooler, there is noise but it’s acceptable.

It's a brilliant tyre for your home training.

Much quieter than a normal road tyre. It was a bit difficult to get the tyre on the wheel, but once it was on it worked really well with the turbo trainer. Seems smooth to peddle.

Made an enormous difference to home trainer sessions - gone is the whiny noise. Way less slippage when out of the saddle too. Well worth the £25. Only downside is that it is hard to fit, maybe fit without a tube and leave overnight to stretch - I bust a tube trying to fit in one go.

I bought a trainer tire to use with my wahoo kickr snap bike trainer. My hope in the purchase was to reduce noise from the tire rubbing against the resistance bar on the trainer and to preserve the lifespan of my road tires. In both aspects the tire has met my needs, it significantly reduced the noise from the tires rubbing and the trainer tire does not wear down as quickly as my regular road tire did. It was pretty easy to put on, or at least no more difficult than any other tire. In fairness, I do not use the trainer regularly, mainly when inclement weather exists. I would say I use the trainer about two to three times a month for about an hour per use. I’ve had the tire now for about 8 months and have not noticed any damage to the tire worthy of concern.

Le pneu est silencieux mais est plutôt difficile à monter sans outillage. S'use un peu sous forme d'une poussière rouge que l'on trouve sur le rouleau métallique de l'home-trainer. Avec 5 bars de pression il a duré 2000 KM et vers fin il avait du mal à tenir ferme sur le rouleau. Il est devenu donc mou et léger - trop fin sur la bande de roulement. La resistance de l'home-trainer est devenue par conséquent un peu aléatoire avec des accoups . Je l'ai changé quand j'ai eu une crevaison - la première en 2000 km. C'est un bon achat quand il est neuf mais c'est un pneu à changer tous les 1500-2000 km, je crois, selon l'utilisation, le poids et la vitesse. Prévoir une chambre à air étroite de type Schwal* 12A, par exemple, que l'on trouve aussi dans une grande surface bleue Deca*, en marque distributeur. Désormais je roule sur l'home-trainer avec un pneu 'city', le "vittoria randonneur" en 26x1.50 qui est certes, plus bruyant, mais qui est aussi plus ferme et plus régulier dans son adhérence au rouleau de l'home-trainer. Pour diminuer le bruit mon astuce est de réduire la vitesse de la roue, tout en gardant une vitesse du pédalage élevée. Pour cela, j'augmente la résistance magnétique de l'home-trainer, et je passe au plateau intermédiaire. Ainsi le pédalage reste rapide, l'effort fourni en wattage et en calories brûlées reste identique, mais la vitesse de la roue arrière diminue et le bruit diminue avec.
