Genuine, Timeless, Classic.
I was initially a bit skeptical to buy as I wasn’t sure if this was an original item but all the paperwork checks out so I’m very glad I did. The watch also displays the word ‘Casio’ when the right button is held down (how you can check for authenticity). It’s a minimalist watch that’s nice and small, light and functional. The strap is easily adjustable and secure. I've already had people give me compliments on it. A testament that classic style never goes out of fashion.

Retro Cool
Had one as a child so this was a real nostalgia purchase. Cheap and cheerful and brings back memories of high school.

Classic, simple timepiece
This watch is a classic. I was looking for something digital, retro looking and that dresses well.It ticks all of those boxes. It's super light and feels its price but that's part of its charm, it's simplicity. The bracelet is extremely easy to resize.Be warned, this is a small piece in a world of oversized fashion watches.Superb piece.

Classic design, could this be an exit watch?
Having bought approx £1.5 - £2,000 worth of watches in the depression following my partner leaving me after 7 years together, I decided I need to stop my watch collecting hobby. I needed something basic, reliable and preferably from a brand with some kind of horological status. The answer? Casio. The F-91W uses the same module as in this watch, however, uses a resin strap which isn't bad, but I find causes a rash on my wrist. So I decided to try out this watch. The A158 has the same exact features e.g stopwatch, one alarm, LED backlight (albeit not the best, but it uses very little power and means the watch gets 7 years of battery life. The stainless steel strap is relatively easy to adjust to your liking. It's simply a classic watch. The only reason i'm not giving 5 stars is because the actual face/surround of the watch is plastic/resin inside. If this was stainless steel, I know the watch would be £10-20 more expensive, but I do wish Casio offered a completely stainless steel version of this watch and I dare say it would become a best seller. That said, it's a reliable watch for £15 at the time of writing. A real bargain - and it's every bit as enjoyable as my automatic timepieces.

I have uh... two dollars... and a Casio
I have more expensive watches, but I wanted this Casio. Because I'm a geek. So I ordered one, which did not arrive (Amazon told me it got lost on the way somewhere in France). Ordered another one, and it got stuck in transit, so I had to cancel the order. Third time is a charm, and now I'm a proud owner of this iconic watch (if you've seem the movie Planes, Trains & Automobiles, you know). It's very light, and I don't even feel like I'm wearing it. The display is super easy to read, has a great contrast and it shows the day and date (you'll need to set the month once during configuration, and adjust the date once every 4 years, as it ignores leap years and counts 28 days for February). It can be configured to beep once every hour, it has an alarm and a stopwatch. It uses a small lightbulb in the upper left corner to light up the display in the dark, however that light is barely sufficient to see the hour, and you'll need to look longer to read the minutes. It uses the CR-2016 battery that Casio claims should last for 7 years. It gains 1 second every 2 days, so in a month it could be about +15 seconds off, not a big deal though as it can be quickly adjusted in settings.Overall, a great little watch. I am wearing it daily now. If you like it, get it.

Fantastic Casio watch. I was just after a watch for work but end up wearing it all the time. Retro look is great. Pointless mentioning the reliability as everyone should know..

Ouch!
Retro looking watch but the 1980s quality is not there unfortunately. Metal bracelet is very cheaply made and if you have hairy wrists, it will feel as if you're being epilated every so often. The body is plastic too which is a shame as I remember the originals being encased in metal. You get the look though.
