Useful tool to improve cover tension
This is the first time I have purchased cover tensioners having never heard of them before. Whilst I do like them (and will continue to use them), in an ideal world I would have liked the tensioners to be shorter in legnth, thus creating more tension. I have a large ironing board and when placing the tensioners horizontally across the board I did not feel they added much benefit. Instead I have crossed them over each to increase the 'pull'.

Nice idea
They seem too long for the job so that the elastic doesn't pull the cover as tight as i expected. I ended up putting them on diagonally to get more tension so it looks like crosses on the back now.

Haven’t used these yet as it’s for our holiday home but certainly look like they will keep ironing board cover in place x
