A Small Piece of Paradise
I must admit that I was unsure about this album prior to buying it, but all my doubts were blown away after listening to it. I knew the Dells, Impressions, Greg Henderson, Steve Shelton and Teddy Prendergrass tracks, but the others I was unsure of. I had never liked Gladys Knights version of Bourgie Bourgie, but this John Davis & the Monster Orchestra version Is great, as is the David McPherson, Scandal, Sound Troupe and Underground. The icing on the cake of this album is the Dee Dee Sharpe Gamble and the Walter Jackson tracks, both totally blinders.

O.K., nothing special
Not a bad album. I can't say I recognise many of the tracks but it is a good overall compilation which is very representative of the 70s/80s soul stuff.I think it might grow on me more in time. Nevertheless, great to have on whilst driving as it just kinda flows.

Do We Need Maxxed Out Sound?

80s Boogie Brilliance
Not much i can say apart from buy this album. So many quality uplifting tracks, Takes you back to the early 80s. A bit more interesting than the usual rubbish being played from the Pirate radio and kiss fm these days.
