Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Great Book. - Handy book.Informative and great for beginners. Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Whittle While You Wiggle - Listen. I bought the 20-Minute Whittling Projects book thinking, “I’ll probably poke my own eye out or whittle a spoon that looks like a haunted toothpick.” But NO. This book turned me into a wood-shaving wizard with the patience of a caffeinated squirrel. First project? Tiny fox. Looked more like a confused rat, but still — it had vibes. Twenty minutes of joyful chaos. Chips flying. Knife slipping. My cat judging me. Glorious. Each project is simple, fast, and makes you feel like some kind of woodcraft god. I now have a collection of vaguely recognizable animals, abstract spoons, and one duck that might be a platypus. I gave one to my nan. She cried. Said it reminded her of her youth or a kidney stone — either way, emotional impact achieved. Perfect for fidgety hands, anxious minds, or anyone who wants to stab wood repeatedly and call it art. Buy it. Whittle it. Brag about it. Become the forest wizard you were born to be. 🪵🔪🦊

Not as clear or informative as I hoped
New to carving and liked the look of the projects in this book and the Tom Hindes Santa seems to be common in a lot of beginner woodcarving videos. The attraction of whittling is being able to create items out of wood just using knives and being able to do it anywhere. This book seems to rely heavily on patterns and using a scroll saw to cut out the initial pattern first. The instructions and photos are also perhaps not that clear for a beginner like me to follow. I prefer instruction books to videos but found following the carving sequence from the text and pictures difficult. I have used the patterns and have produced a pumpkin magnet and a passable gnome, but took several hours to whittle the wood down to the starting shape and then relied mostly on the finished photos to try and self-teach the steps to bring in the detail. So I have got use out of it but not the quick carving projects the title suggests.

Même si c'est en anglais, les modèles prix en photos et les patrons permettent de réaliser de chouettes sculptures pour débutants. Top, un peu cher mais il n'y a pas d'équivalent en français alors...top
