Simple but effective
I bought this when my (Halfords) two barrel manual foot pump for the car broke after a year or so and the replacement single barrel (Michelin) one never even worked! I still like having a manual pump (I have now have an very cheap discount store single barrel one and so far so good) but having had to rely on a neighbour seeing me struggle and fetching their compressor I realised that I needed both. I did a bit of research beforehand and chose this make as a manufacturer of decent compressors at a fair price. Some of the branded or automotive organisation tie-in ones are stupidly priced and yet offer nothing more really. This is a simple model but that fits my needs. It stores away neatly and now lives on the boot of the car with the manual pump and tyre pressure gauge. PROS: At just under £12 this is very good value in my opinion. It works! Not had to use in anger so far (thankfully) just topping up the pressure but it's okay for that. Stores away neatly. CONS: nothing really - I know others have questioned it accuracy but I still use a manual gauge to verify the tyre pressures. Long-term reliability is a matter of wait and see I guess, but if manual pumps are anything to go by then big brands and more expensive pumps (or compressors) do not necessarily equate to better reliability and if I am going to have to buy twice I would rather pay less for the privilege. OVERALL: I can only comment in respect of my own fairly low usage, but I have found this compressor pump to work okay and be a neat, small and easy to store package. I tend to use it as a back-up to manual pump being old-school but I am pleased to have it there for that purpose juts in case. I can recommend it, albeit somewhat cautiously, as I know that others will use theirs much more often and thus will be testing it more thoroughly.

Just the Job
I've had 2 punctures recently, each fortunately slow ones and near enough to get home, but I got to thinking: if/when that happens again do I want to change a wheel (I'm old-fashioned enough to carry a spare), or would I rather pump it up and get to my destination and take stock there? I decided on the latter, which is why I bought this. It's small and light enough to carry with other necessities in the boot. It's obviously not of the robust construction necessary for professional use, but I was pleased to see that the one used by the guy on the YouTube video I found (the pictorial instructions that come with it are far from clear) was battered and well-used, he said it was 10 years old and had always worked perfectly. I've used mine only the once, just so that I know how to work it. I dare say that the gauge is accurate, though I use a separate one. Plug it into the outlet in the car. The lead is plenty long enough to reach all the wheels, unless you drive a stretch limo. It's important to remember to screw the nozzle on all the way until you hear the "pfft" that tells you that the valve is open, press the button (there's only one!) and wait. I must say it was pretty loud and took a good minute or so to put in 2 or 3 p.s.i. so I suppose it would take 10 minutes or more to inflate from flat but that's perfectly acceptable on what I hope will be the rare occasions when I use it. Useful, easy to use and good value.

Does one job, but does it well.
This pump is cheap. Cheaper than most footpumps! How is that possible? Well, it feels a little cheap. I wouldn't recommend dropping it too often. It has no additional features but does what it says on the tin. The screw-on connector is a mixed blessing. It seals well every time, but is a little Fiddly to get on and, more importantly off, the valve. It really needs two hands. Once screwed onto the valve it makes for a good connection. When unscrewing it, you need to be quick so as not to lose too much air. Again, use two hand which makes for a slightly awkward process. Once you get the knack though it works well enough. I tried the pump on one car tyre that was reading 25 and was inflated to634 in about 30 seconds. Excellent. Next it was the turn of the old lawn tractor. Both rear tyres were showing less than 10 psi and both inflated to 20 in a few seconds. Excellent again. The front wheels are tiny, about 4 inches in diameter. Consequently the tyres arealso miniscule. When the pump was connected it read 60psi! Not true. When I switched the pumpon it then read the correct pressures of about 10 to 12psi. Once the gauge read the correct 20psi the pump was disconnected. I checked the pressure with a separate gauge and they were both correct. I am guessing that the valves are sticky or dirty. Anyway, if you want to pump up tyres quickly and with little effort, this pump will do. There are no fancy add-ons. Definitely cheap and cheerful. Godd little bit of kit.

Great little motoring device!
Cheap enough to buy one for each car. Yes there were more expensive digital versions available but for the amount of times you will use it they are overkill. This does what its supposed to, is small, cheap and easy to use. Don't waste money on features you dont need! Would purchase this again!

Just perfect
I bought this for my car after replacing the run flat tyres with normal ones. It has so many good reviews. Now I know why. It’s well built and more powerful than most. What I also appreciated is the compact size. It perfectly fitted in my car’s accessory space. What really makes it stand out is that if you press the start button it automatically fills the tyre to 30 or equivalent. The you can kept holding the button for the exact pressure. Great for roadside emergencies.
