The standard for panel lining
Excellent quality set. Clean, precise panel lining requires practice and will always need some clean up afterwards, however these pens do a fantastic job and make very little mess compared to the equivalent Tamiya product, which although also very good does tend to be a little messy.

Very good product for all models
Great for all sorts of models, not just gundam. Paint in a pen, that works. What more is there to say.

Good stuff
Well made markers but they do leave brush marks after drying on plastic so need to do few thin coats

An easy and fast way to quality panel lines
Ignore the negative review for these pens; these are intended to be very thin paints so that they fill thin panel lines through capillary action, and they do so quite well. Basically you press the pen gently into the panel line, and it should fill with color. If the whole thing doesn't fill: try again further down the line. Wait a few minutes for the ink to dry, and gently clean-up the excess with a cotton swab with a little alcohol on it, brushing parallel with the panel line. There's an "eraser" pen in here too, and that's just basically mineral spirits in a pen. You're supposed to use the eraser pen by pressing it onto the tip of a cotton swab to get a small amount, and then use the cotton swab to clean the excess from your panel-lining. You're not supposed to use the pen tip itself; if you use the pen itself: it will get dirty, and may spread the color around. There's probably a way to use the pen tip while keeping it clean -- maybe it can be removed -- but I have not tried, that that's not what is indicated on the packaging. When the "eraser" pen runs out: mineral spirits work just fine, but you don't want to soak your cotton swabs, or you'll fill your panel with spirits via the same capillary action, and you'll ruin your panel line; you just want the swab to have a couple drops of alcohol at most. Keep in-mind that these paint pens are intended for use on bare plastic; if used on painted surfaces: they could damage and/or bleed into the other paint. I accidentally dripped some on my dining table, and the ink ate right through the finish to the bare wood. Overall these can be used to really bring out the detail in plastic model kits with fine molded details, like RG and MG Gundam kits. These pens are for people who just want to stick with the default color of the plastic, and/or don't want to invest the time in painting the entire kit, and they work incredibly well for that.
