Brilliant value, exceptional performance for under £60
This is my review of the 2016/7 projector which I purchased from amazon.co.uk. This is probably one of the best purchases I’ve made with regards to performance and value for money. I purchased this for under 60 pounds after spending numerous hours on YouTube checking out reviews for cheap video projectors. A lot of manufacturers tend to market the budget projector lumens above boy actually delivers. This is also consistent with their claims of resolution and specifications such as the sound and picture quality.I used to work for a company providing large video screens at events so make my purchase I had realistic expectations. What I can say is that as soon as I powered the projector just looking at the menu screen out of focus I knew I was in for a nice little treat. I had this projector attached to my camera's tripod using the same adapter I use for the camera. And projecting onto a white wall in my bedroom during the day with the curtains closed, that’s with a fair amount of light coming into the room. From a distance of about 3 meters, I estimate the protection size of 95 inches at a ratio of 16:9. I then spent 10 minutes going through the settings, which at first was a bit of a learning curve but when you come to AV that curve is relative to a walk in the park.I had converted Star Wars Rogue 0ne from a DVD to a 720 P MP4 on a USB stick and plugged it into the back of the projector. I then went into the media menu, selected movie and it picked up straight away. My first impressions were, bloody hell how do I turn the volume down! Ha-ha - needless to say, the inbuilt speaker kicks out some decibels and believe it or not a little bit of bass. After dealing with the volume, I was quite overwhelmed by the performance of this little beauty I was projecting onto my bedroom wall. A little more adjustment with the focus and projection angle and I ended up watching the whole film early evening. The projector was situated behind me but the audio was reflecting off the wall so it sounded like it was coming from the display itself which was a nice touch. And whilst the resolution was not 720 P even 95 inches and I sat about 7 foot away from the screen it was brilliant. Now don’t get too excited, this is not comparable to a 300 - 500-pound entry-level home cinema projector. But for 60 quid, I would’ve been happy if I’d paid 150 quid back in 2016.Okay, so this basic projector so far has outperformed and surpassed any of my expectations when it comes to the quality and brightness of the picture with decent colours, and quite a respectable built-in speaker. It also features an impressive array of inputs to connect a wide variety of input sources. I won’t cover this in too much detail as it’s in this specification which I’m sure you have already read. But you must admit that is quite impressive. The only thing negative that can really say about this product is the noise from the LED fan-later at night’s when there’s not so much background noise you either have to have the volume up or wear headphones as it becomes a complete distraction.Secondly, the remote control is a little bit flimsy and it didn’t take me long to snap in half, but that was from sitting on it whilst I had it my back pocket. It still works with a electrical tape. Now covered using this in my bedroom watching movies and have actually used it to play my Xbox which worked quite well as well. But I can also see this suited for both applications, for example, ambient lighting in a bar or club. I have actually used this for creating special-effects over the following projecting it from the inner side of the curtains to simulate ghosts which worked really well. You could definitely use this also outside, at night on a screen to watch the boxing with your mates and hook it up to a speaker system using the audio out jack. I’ve done this using my PC speakers and it was brilliant. No one believed it was only a cheap LED projector off amazon. So, be realistic, it’s good value for money, but it’s not going to replace your TV! It’s great fun, universal, mobile and great quality for the money. And don’t forget, I’m reviewing the 2016 model, the latest one has 30%! More brightness, lower fan noise, improved sound and connectivity! It’s a great purchase I highly recommend =)I hope you had found this review helpful and I'm happy to answer any of your questions, if so could I please ask that you click the Helpful button it really helps; any contructive feedback is welcomed too.

Fantastic for the price, but noisy fan.
Great product however.......I order this product and had it for less than 24 hours. The reason I returned it was simply down to one reason.... The level of noise from the fan. I rated the item and for the money I think it might struggle to be beaten. We accept that for this sort of money the resolution isn’t going to be high and the brightness not outstanding.... however it was very good. The focus was good. Resolution good enough unless your demanding much high (if so pay for it). For me if the fan noise was half the volume I would have kept it. If you are buying this projector to put into some casing or high up out the way then I think you might get away with it. I don’t want to let this review put people off, just be mindful where the projector is going to be placed before buying it down to the fan noise.

Quality great value product, and fantastic after sales service,
Great picture quality and the volume is loud.Easy to set up. My grandkids loved it gave them a ciema experience in the bedroom. Following the writing of my initial review the projector either developed or had a minor fault that I had not noticed before. I checked all reveiews to see if anyone else had experienced this fault and as no one had mentioned it, I can only assume it was unique to my projector and not a general fault. On contacting the seller I have to say that the after sales service was second to none. Throughout the process my problem was dealt with by one after sales advisor 'Delphine Petit' who provided excellent customer service.Hopefuly like the vast majority of reviewers your projector will be excellent, but if you do ever have to use the after sales service you will see exactly what I mean. You will not be left frustrated or out of pocket like some after sales teams I have dealt with in the past,Companies who treat customers like this shall surelly go from strength to strength. When goodee say an absolute risk free waranty for you they mean it.Thanks Delphine.P.S. I watched international football with my projector and the screen was well over the recommended maximum size and the quality was still very good.

Good but
We got this projector to use as a home cinema plugged into our blu-ray player. The good things for us is it has a normal headphone style speaker out, this let us use some old pc speakers and speakers for it. The sound controls are good which allowed us to ballance out the very very heavy base that occured just out the box (could have just been our old basey speakers though) but the adjustment on the projector fixed this. The unit accepts a HD 1080P signal and displays it fine but the matrix that is projected certainly isnt 1080P that being said from 5-6m away it doesn't show too noticably. We have ours mounted to the ceiling which wasn't too hard to acheive but the keystone adjustment on it isn't the best, it's manual and doesn't provide enough adjustment we found. The picture is bright enough in a dark room. Not a day light viewable projector. We dont use any of the fancy media stuff that's built into it, but the functionality seems fine. The remote works well. The fan noise.... it is loud!! for an LED projector, so loud, constantly. Useable and a good unit. Would really love it if that fan would quieten down.

Started to deterioriate after aprox 3 months
The media could not be loaded. I've had my projector for about 8 months now. Initially I had no problem with it. I liked the sound and visuals. Great value for money. But it started to deteriorate after about 3-5 months when a small shadow appeared on the screen. At first I ignored it because I just don't have the time to do anything about it. But this shadow has been growing ever since. I don't think this projector will last another 3 months. I was looking to buy two more projectors for family members but I wouldn't recommend this model. I have attached a video and photos showing the glare on the right hand side. Its been growing and growing, and will soon take over the entire screen.
