FFP2 vs. KN95 vs. KF94 masks explained:
You just might be a mask expert by now but let me explain about what is likely a new type to many: FFFP. This particular mask is labeled FFP2. Fortunately, this means 94% particle filtration. Excellent if accurate. The fit and feeeing are more like the KN95 respirators that are the Chinese version of N95, as you likely already know. KN95 respirators are the Chinese version of N95, as you likely already know. I’ve reviewed several KN95 best sellers here-- they are not all the same. Designed to compete with KN95, the KF94 wearing experience is quite bit different and many feel more comfortable. Let’s compare these FFP2 masks from Kangdun:FFP2 vs. KF94 vs. KN95: DESIGNThe claim of 94% effective filtration vs. 95% is a moot point. These percentages don’t matter in practical use against Covid. What’s key is how a mask fits YOUR face and it’s best to try and see. These are far more comfortable than any of the KF95s I have worn. The straps are softer and longer, thus making the yet these are much easier to wear in my experience. KF94s feel lighter and have a tent-like fit against face, comfortably giving your mouth more room. They feel less snug, and thus for me more comfortable and lighter feeling, too.FFP2 vs. KF94 vs. KN95: EFFECTIVENESSThus far, there have been zero trials comparing effectiveness of the three types. KF94s are said to NOT be best for kids, though. The reason is the different shape and sealing against face for safety. Subjectively, the KF94 feels more breathable yet seems to have one less layer than the five found in KN95s. You may feel less gaps in a FFP2 or KN95 and that’s a good thing! NIOSH tests masks for effectiveness yet few found on Amazon have been tested. Thus, tight seal for you while still not being uncomfortable is likely your best protection.CONCLUSION:Love the Kangdun colors and comfort--Confident thus far wearing them For the gym or wearing continuously for hours on end KF94s can be less tiring. Hope this too long review has been of some small help for you and that all of us will soon be wearing masks FAR less often. From our family to yours, we believe that better times will again return!

For Italy
Italy requires these masks. The only places that were super strict we’re the plane and the Vatican. People with regular surgical masks were being turned away. People with KN95s were mostly getting through but the want you to be wearing a mask with FFP2 on it. These masks were expensive. But they are really well made and durable. None broke, none were stretched out etc. If you’re going to travel to Europe, these are the ones.

Nice FFP2 masks
I was a bit skeptical about needing these special FFP2 masks on our recent trip Germany, Switzerland and Austria. But that is what they require to go into any tourist buildings etc. I was worried that they would be like the N95 masks, but I found I could breathe a lot better in these masks and much more comfortable. Many of the sights we visited in Germany, Switzerland and Austria required this mask, not the N95 to be able to enter. I think it would be a good idea to buy some so you have them on hand. Once there you can pick them up more in a pharmacy for around 3 euros. My husband and I were so happy that we had purchased some from Amazon.

Good, comfortable, but would be nice if they were individually packaged
These masks were good! They were comfortable, easy to breathe in, and felt mostly secure around my face (no big gaps, the only issue was bending the wire to fit my nose better as they come folded so that nose wire is a little tough to re-contour). The quality was good as well—I never had any of the ear straps break or feel loose. I do have a long, somewhat thin face, so this mask may not fit someone with a larger face or a lot of facial hair.Unfortunately, these masks were not as easy to travel with as some other brands as they were not individually packaged. I had to bring a ziplock with me to keep them together and to keep them sanitary if I wanted to bring them along in my backpack or purse.
