A fantastic machine for all general sewing. I've had mine a while now and it's been completely reliable, easy to use, straightforward and has a useful and clear instruction book. It's a good weight and has so far tacked all machine jobs with gusto. I would strongly recommend it to those like me, that perhaps only get it out once an moth or so, as it's fairly lightweight (but very very sturdy) and is a fantastic workhorse. Perhaps not designed for heavy duty work, but absolutely perfect for home dressmaking and crafts.Can't fault it and I bought it in the back of reading previous reviews which were all helpful and true.Great value for such a good machine.

After try two other machines at last my wife is happy, good machine with plenty of sowing options and spread. Good machine.

I was amazed when my sewing machine arrived the day after ordering. Well done!I was a little nervous when beginning as it has been 20 years since I did any dressmaking (an amateur). However, I was really pleased that it was easy to set up, the instructions for threading the cotton were simple, and it is quite self explanatory for the rest of the instructions. I found the foot lift strange at first (I was used to it being at the back of the foot, this one is at the side), I don't use the needle threader (I find my glasses still enable me to see the needle hole so I won't give up yet). Haven't used many of the embroidery stitches, but I only ever used them on a rare occasion before. It is a really robust machine, very quiet compared to my last one, it runs smoothly and is easy to store with its hard cover.

For the price it is very good. I have not tried out every stitch yet but what I have done has been good. The instruction book was easy to follow and the accessories fit neatly inside the machine case so can't get misplaced. It is really quiet compared to my old sewing machine that was over 35 years old. I would recommend it to anyone who likes simplicity and it can just be taken out of the box and start to sew straight away. Checking the tension on different types of fabric is easy and even the needle threader works well. One reason why I wanted it as I was struggling to thread my old machine.

I am new to sewing and this sewing machine is very user friendly. It's not complicated and very light to carry with it's own cover. The manual is easy to understand and the additional parts are useful. I haven't used them yet. I love it 😀

I bought this a few years back and was initially pleased with it. However, it has had so many problems with the needle threader, stitching and durability of parts that I regret buying it. I hope others have had more luck with theirs.

Returning to sewing after failing my sewing classes in school hundreds of years ago, I picked this machine after much research because it seemed to present value for money for the features. Some reviews suggest it is hard to keep at a slow speed, but I have had no such problems, and it will go as slow or fast as I want it. I started by doing some repairs like sewing up pockets and seams that had come apart, and have moved on to making PJs, dog jackets, dog duvets and a door curtain. Not only is it easy to use, but it is deeply satisfying to create something that is pretty and useful. To make the dog duvet, I sewed across an 8 tog single duvet before cutting it in half. The machine struggled a bit with the thickness (though to be fair it did double itself up in a couple of places so it was a bit of an ask). But I am extremely pleased that I bought this machine.
