My daughter absolutely adores this doll. I find Lottie dolls to be quite expensive for what they are, however the style and relevance of these dolls for children is worth the extra. The dolls are styled to be children as dolls, rather than dolls always being either unrealistic bimbos or emaciated and smothered in makeup with giant pouty lips and an expression of deep disdain.Lottie dolls portray the more regular features of a child; rounded faces, imperfect hairstyles and normal, non makeupped skin. They come in various themes, we bought the party doll as my daughter loved the outfit and colours. The doll itself is well made, it doesn't feel flimsy or badly manufactured. The hair feels smooth and stays smooth easily, the arms have full range both circular and up and down too, which I don't see as much. There are no joints on the wrists or ankles, neither on elbows or knees so it's just basic movements. Clothing comes off and goes back on easily.These dolls seem to be made in dimensions that fit children perfect, in regards to holding them and playing with them. My daughter is 7 and carried hers around but she looks far more comfortable doing it with Lottie than with other dolls she's had. She also regularly says how she's happy that Lottie looks 'just like her'.Overall, worth the price. Lottie dolls break the market of dolls in a great way with their open mindedness as to design and themes. Good quality and good role models.

Beautiful dolls based on real features of a young child. No adult features at all which is a lovely ideal. No unrealistic body imagines here. Lottie dolls fit nicely in a small persons hand, making play easy and comfortable. We have 3 now..... A firm favourite here, especially as our daughter is called Lottie! To receive this one for her birthday seemed extra special. They are always excellent quality.

3 year old daughter loves her Lottie dolls, and chose this cute one to increase her collection for her next birthday. Dolls are perfectly sized for little hands, and are more realistic and child like than others on the market. I love the quirky range of hobbies too.

I love these dolls just wish they were a bit cheaper the accessories are too expensive but granddaughter loves it.

Love Lottie Dolls! Got this for a birthday present. My daughter and son love playing with the dolls. It promotes good play, engaging them in friendly imaginative play.The item was delivered very quickly and in mint condition.

Decided to buy this expensive doll for my niece. I liked the idea that this doll was "inspired by real kids. be bold . be brave . be you " as the medallion on the front of the box explained. But it was not on my box. Also the back of the advertised box had a story about "asking big sister Lottie to help" . This was a deciding factor in choosing this particular doll as my niece is called Lottie. However, the box I got just had manufacturing details. So all in all what was going to be a special gift has become disappointing and expensive. So not as advertised.
