OK so they look amazing between the yellow bass cones and the badge that illuminates when on, but do they sound good?I have listened to other monitors, Hi-fi speakers, and years ago used to design and build them so do these meet my high expectations, for the price a big yes, now the pros and cons.Pros; for a small size they can fill most small to medium rooms and unlike many speakers the frequency remains the same regardless of volume (many speakers sound thin at low volume and fuller the harder they are driven).They have XLR, 6.3mm Jack, and RCA inputs and have tried balanced and unbalanced which makes no or very little difference in the sound.I have not taken actual measurements, but my hears are good at detecting any type of noise, and so far I could not hear any noise at all (check out long cable in cons).The cabinets have lots of rounded edges and around the tweeter, also a bit of rounding around the bass port all this adds up to cleaner and more even frequencies.Cons; I used a set of 10M long XLR to XLR from my mixer which does produce a very slight hum but can only be heard if the room is absolutely silent but complete silence with shorter cables, but this might be an unbalanced to balance issue but did notice that one speaker would turn on from standby when a signal is applied but the other did not, but with shorter cables they both performed perfectly, so still could be a cable issue, but my brother has the 6’s and has had the same issue when he added a longer cable so be careful with cable length if 10M or more.Not the best speakers if using wall mounting stands as they are reassuringly heavy!, but that's what quality speakers should be.Conclusion; These are easy to listen to for hours and you do need to fine tune the Hi and Lo EQ knobs to get the best near flat response as out of the box they were bright with almost a disco bass, so by pulling the Hi and Lo back I got a flatter response which I prefer but its down to each ones own taste, for what I paid for these, it will be hard to beat the performance in the £200ish range, I reckon you would have to double the spend and even then the improvements may just be marginal, for any budget studio or in my case editing video these speakers serve me well and will be my main set for a long time to come.

Wonderful speakers i bought this speaker for my home studio and i was very supprised how they have transformed the sound of my CD collection ,the sound is just so clear with crisp powerful bass.i am able to pickup sounds and background vocals i missed on stereo speakers.The speaker also has a small white light behind the krk trademark when it is on ,another excellent feature.Anyone that is connecting these speakers to a laptop you will need a 3.5mm jack x 2 xRCA stereo audio cable lead.i am very pleased with the build quality of the KRK RP5 speaker and i will be buying another one.The speaker is well worth the money and they are suitable for the producer or the normal Pc users because they will transform your audio sound quality.They get a thumbs up from me and you can also see my unboxing on my youtube channel Time2Shine.The best studio speakers you can buy at this price!!

I absolutely love the sound of these monitors. At a moderate listening level the frequency response (at least across the average of which most of us can hear; 80 - 16000Hz) is pretty much flat with a clarity second-to-none.One of my favourite tracks for referencing is Quincy Jones - Back On The Block and it was the first track I played through these monitors. Given that you can shape the highs and lows with the use of tone controls on the back of the monitors to suit your room (which I left flat), the most important frequency range are the mids and this area proved extremely impressive. With a slight boost of around 2dB @ approximately 5Khz with a medium bell, the vocals where clear and bright as were other instruments like horns.Also, with 3 inputs these monitors allow me to not just monitor my mixes via an audio interface but also listen to music via my dj mixer without the need for any cable switching. And one othe nice touch is that they switch themselves off after about 10mins in the absence of any signal.Bottom line is I'm very happy with these monitors and would highly recommend.

Ordered these for myself as a birthday present as I fancied upgrading my studio a bit. Did loads of research into speakers at this price range and certainly made the right decision. Needed to buy xlr cables to connect to mixer as it's the best and clearest sound. These really are quality, well built and heavy but sound great, clear punchy basslines and they look amazing too. My friends all want a pair now!

Great overall service. Items arrived promptly with no damage to the equipment. The speakers themselves are absolutely insane, I don't think you could get better quality if you tried. The room adjustment works perfectly for me as I am in an Attic and being so, it is required that i make subtle changes to the low and high frequencies. After completing the 3 hr burn in period the speakers performed well in identifying flaws in my recording which made them almost effortless to correct. Overall these are great speakers and the service I received was flawless :).

Had to get a replacement as the speaker broke. Then the replacement broke and contacted about getting a refund but didn't get any response. Definitely wouldn't recommend!

These are my first studio monitors, they are replacing my old KEF hifi speakers. I have only used them for maybe 2 hours but they are great! They blow my old hifi speakers out of the water, so crisp and clear with good bass. I only use them currently for playing backing tracks.

A questo prezzo direi che per produrre in un home studio musica elettronica KRK Rokit 5 è il miglior monitor audio per approcciare in maniera professionale a questo mondo. Dopo qualche mese di utilizzo mi appresto a fare questa recensione e mi ritengo soddisfatto al 100%. Ottime per studio di dimensioni medio piccole come il mio studio. La caratteristica di questi monitor è la risposta leggermente enfatizzata delle basse frequenze, personalmente non dispiace... in breve tempo imparerete a calibrare le vostre orecchie e realizzare degli ottimi mix. E' possibile regolarle le basse frequenze dal retro in base alle dimensioni della stanza, idem per le alte frequenze che possono essere bilanciate a seconda dei propri gusti. Le consiglio su questa fascia di prezzo, ovvio che se saliamo di prezzo di trova di meglio. Ma per la stragrande maggioranza questi monitor rappresentanp un best buy!

Allora non do la 5 stella perché ho dovuto solo far ritornare la cassa al mittente ed ora spiego perché.La cassa, di fattura ottima, suona benissimo, un ottimo prodotto. Però forse nel mio caso, lo stiamo accertando ora con il venditore, accusavo un problema non trascurabile a mio avviso. La cassa mentre suonava, quando voleva lei, ad un certo punto si spegneva per poi riaccendersi ma non emettendo più musica. Me l'ha fatto per una settimana di prove al che ho deciso di contattare il venditore Discopiù di Rimini.OTTIMI VENDITORI, si sono subito adoperati per fare le verifiche del caso. Ho rispedito la cassa al negozio, la stanno testando ma di comune accordo mi spediscono una cassa nuova. Ora sono in attesa della nuova da provare, ma sono sicuro non ci saranno altri problemi.Comunque mi sento di consigliare sia il prodotto che al dilà del mio problema è di ottima qualità e stra-consiglio Discopiù di Rimini, venditori competenti e super disponibili verso il cliente.

La cassa è arrivata con la scatola rotta e addirittura ammaccata. Il cavo di alimentazione non era quello dell'Unione Europea, davvero un servizio scadente. SCONSIGLIO VIVAMENTE.
