Baby Skin Pore Eraser Matte Primer, Transparent, 22 ml, Pack Of 1

I'm going to describe my skin type in case it helps anyone else thinking of trying this. I guess my skin would be described as normal/dry but not dry in the sense of like patches of dry skin...more in that it feels tight a lot of the time so I'm more inclined to describe it as dehydrated. I also have sensitive skin and although I don't suffer from spots or breakouts I will get an odd red blemish if I am sensitive or allergic to an ingredient or product. I'm also in my mid 40's so do have a few wee fine lines so am super careful not to use anything that will settle into them or highlight them. Ok that's out of the way now I really wanted to try this...I have the Benefit Pore Professional and I have read that this is a dupe for that. The BPP works great but I'm not crazy about the price as I wear a full face of make up every day so thought this will be a great cost effective replacement if it works. I have found this also has that silicone feel and a little goes a long way and I have found the best results from this hav been achieved when rather than applying it like a moisturiser I first concentrate on the areas I feel need it first...I have a few enlarged pores around my nose and of course the fine lines around the corners of my eyes so I take a little and press it into these areas gently...sort of like filling in the pores and lines and then blend out from these areas to lightly cover the rest of my face. This method of applying it works so well for me and it does give the impression of blurring out those lines and pores and even before applying my foundation my skin is already looking and feeling smooth. Using this as a base has also cut in half how much foundation I used to apply....instead of 2~3 pumps I only need to use 1~2 at most, foundation applies so beautifully and using this primer I have been able to achieve a flawless and smooth face which is every bit as good as using the BPP. My face looks even and I don't get that tight, dry feeling throughout the day so I think its also helping to lock in my serum and moisturiser. I don't need to touch up during the day and blusher/bronzer are still in place. I'm enjoying this primer very much...if the silicone feel doesn't bother you I'd give it a try if you are thinking about it, just remember a little goes a long way. I'm not sure how this would control oil shine if you have oily skin though...I can imagine it would give some oil control. I have used many primers including Laura mercier, Clarins, BPP, etc and this works brilliantly for me so I'd definitely recommend trying it especially if you have a similar skin type. Where has this stuff been all my life....amazing, really blurred pores and a lovely base for make up. Much better than more expensive ones I've tried.

I was amazed that this arrived next day when I placed my order only late in the afternoon. Full marks for that! The packaging and name of the product looks a bit 'naff' and not exactly glam' but the product came out smoothly and is like a translucent, fairly thick but soft, gel. I have quite a lot of 'visible' pores into which foundation can 'sit', making them look worse, but smoothing just a pea sized amount of this, on the part that I need it, (cheeks and nose) and LETTING IT DRY and then putting on the rest of my makeup (of which I needed less!) made my skin look smoother....no, not like a baby's b... it's a product not a miracle!...but certainly better. And even before I put makeup on, my skin just looked a little less horrible at 8am! First use today, and for what it costs I think it is well worth trying.....and you can always decant it into a Clarins pot if you're a snob about these things . Me? I just want to have products that work for me, and this seems to do that....and it will last quite a while at the rate I used it today

Great product that I have been using for many years with no issues.

It's mediocre. If I had known what I know now, I probably wouldn't have bought it. I was really excited for this product, I'd heard it was like Benefit's Porefessional, but it was a bit of a let down. I don't wear foundation on a day-to-day basis, so I was mainly looking for something which would keep my face matte all day, and the apparent pore-blurring effects were just a bonus, but it never seemed to work for me. I can't deny that the product feels amazing; it makes your skin feel entirely new; perfectly baby soft and smooth, if a little slippery, but it wasn't particularly matte for me. There were no 'blurring' effects for me, and it didn't seem to fill in any of my pores and even it out. However, it is a little handy having something like this in here; I've used it for glitter highlights and things like that as it is a good base for it to stick to, but I could have done that with some cheap eyelash glue, or most other cheap primers. I really don't know much about how well it keeps makeup on as I don't really wear foundation all that often, but it keeps eyeshadow on okay.

i did not erase my pores, but i love the way it feels. So buttery smooth! Ahhh! Incredible feeling. It also make applying foundation especially cream ones a cake walk. I only keep reaching out for it for its feeling. Transparent gel consistency which disappears within a flash on the skin. What it leaves behind is an incredibly smooth texture. If you have rough skin, there is none other product that can beat this. I have porous skin and liquid foundations accentuate how terrible they look. Since liquid foundation will sit on top of this silicone-y icing, it reduces the appearance of pores, or fine lines, or texture to a little extent. In my case, I am in my early 30s, so it just about saves my life. Budget friendly, and skin friendly too. Does not clog up the pores and no breakouts from it either. Very gentle product. As for the priming effect, it is excellent. Foundation does not change its tone when using along with this. Sometimes, primers tend to make foundations look lighter than they are, but this one not. Silicone is an excellent binder, so foundation has a better grip with this one. So all in all, nothing much to crib about. Suits perfectly for younger skin, like below 35ish. Mature skin needs more help with regards to pores and fine lines and texture which this baby is not up to.

Cumple totalmente con ocultar los poros, es ligero y el maquillaje se ve como porcelana. Yo tengo el cutis seco. Me funciona perfecto. No reseca mi piel y no me provoca alergias o rechazo. Honestamente lo recomiendo. Además dura mucho!

Kaschiert die Poren und Unebenheiten gut. Das Produkt ist sehr ergiebig. Benutze seit Jahren , habe schon 3.Mal gekauft.
