Silverline 447131 Metal Cutting Discs Flat 10pk 115 x 3 x 22.23 mm

Angler Grinder used: Makita 9565 I bought the 10 of 125mm ones for cutting up an old metal 17' x 50' metal framed workshop, half expecting to use the lot, most of the metal was 4 mm, the uprights where much thicker. Four discs, a lot of cuts and sweating all done. - PPE during hot summers, not nice. :-( Then, for fun I cut up and old rusty heavy safe thick steel , Now, I won't say like a hot knife through butter, but it did cut, nearly three discs used to cut it up fully for the skip. Never had one shatter Are they far better than the very best discs, NO, but their price made that thought disappear. I didn't want perfection, I just wanted demolition. Cons: No fancy box, No fancy materials or labels. Personally, I think these Silverline Metal Cutting Discs are great, for the money, happy to buy more and more importantly try other Silverline products. Highly recommended.

Good Value For Money.

Bought for cutting various thicknesses of pipes and metal sheets, they cut ok but are a little on the thick side for some work. Wont last as long as more expensive brands, but Silverline products are not aimed at the high end of the market.. Will do the job for general cutting and at the price you can’t go wrong, and definitely did not experience any problems with disks disintegrating dangerously. Remember that Resin-bonded disks have a shelf life, so can’t sit around forever, check your disks for date (usually printed on the centre hub)... Good product. Happy with purchase, would buy again.

Personally, I think these Silverline Metal Cutting Discs are great. I ordered them as they were listed as the 'frequently bought together' item with the Bosch Angle Grinder I purchased. After placing my order on Amazon, I was a little worried as I read some reviews that stated they don't cut very well. However, when I received the cutting discs, they were good quality, easy to install and cut well. I cut through some old Heras fence panels which were tubular galvanised steel approx 40mm diameter and around 3-4mm steel thickness. Thee disc glided through with no trouble and after around 20-30 cuts through the tubular steel, I cannot see much wear. Overall, very happy with the quality, especially for the price! Highly recommended!

Bought to use with a 2nd hand/ refurbished Ryobi One+ Angle grinder. Work well cutting metal and tiles seem to last a reasonable time and don't shatter on use (so far). Ideal for me as a DIY homeowner, may not be up to a pro tradesperson needs.

Very thin so the cutting is tome consuming. They aren’t the best quality. I was cutting through a metal window blinds rail that was probably .5mm thick and it took about thirty seconds whereas a good quality more expensive disk would do the same job in about ten seconds. They aren’t really bad just not the best. They work just take a bit longer, you get what you pay for. Any metal more than 3mm thick you will need multiple discs

wanted some general purpose cutting disks for use with an angle grinder. - probably not the best but cheap and they work for me

Actually got the 3mm ones rather than 1mm I was needing however these 3 mm discs last for ages this pack will do me for a good while.
