Well made and a great price
I wanted a collapsible, lightweight and durable pole to be used as a wading staff for fishing. I wanted aluminum over carbon fiber for durability in rocky situations. These poles are well made, extend and collapse with minimal effort. The price for these is well below the dedicated collapsible wading poles marketed for fishing and you get a pair instead of just one. These do not come with a lanyard, as the wading staffs do, but a lanyard is easy to make. If you buy these poles for fishing you might want to consider making or buying a pouch to wear on your belt that has semi-rigid sides to make it easier to remove and insert the pole with one hand. They do come with individual bags for storage that can be attached to a wading belt, but these bags are bit more difficult to use one handed, since they collapse when nothing is in them.

Good for an added twist to walking and/or hiking
Good for walking and balance. Easy to adjust their height, are lightweight and easy to use provided links and videos. Good to help with walking and improving balance. Videos of proper technique help you adjust to coordinating your arms with your feet to walk smoothly on different surfaces, including uphills and downslopes. Great exercise for your arms too. These are foldable and packable for travel, but may need to be checked in luggage for flights since they have sharp tips under their various choices of protective rubber tips for different surfaces. Good price for a good set to learn and use whether in the neighborhood or for hiking the trails.

Sturdy
These work well , easy to use and are sturdy. I prefer using one but glad I have 2. I recommend them and the price is good. I used to have ones that folded in half and they would stick out of my back pack. This trifold fits perfectly and doesn’t take much space.

Great product...No instructions included
Bought this for my elderly MIL because she wanted to start walking on her physician's advice, but she wobbles and occasionally falls. She was using tree limbs from the yard to keep her balance, and we knew we needed to improve upon this. Once we figured out how they assembled, we just sized them to where she felt comfortable and left them that way. They seem pretty strong; she put her entire weight on them getting up out of her chair, and they were locked in the same position as before. They looked much more safe and efficient than the tree limbs she was using. NOT A CHANCE she will be able to figure out how to assemble them on her own, though. If they ever fail, I'm sure we'll hear about it. Half a star off for the missing instructions, and another half star for the likelihood that we will be called out at some point to "fix" it.

value for the money
Great hiking poles. Lighter than any telescoping pole I could find. Best travel pole. Easy to pack.

Awesome collapsible hiking sticks
These hiking poles are awesome! They collapse easily & are easy to put together. I used them hiking in rocks up a mountain & also in snow. They did great! I put them in my luggage & they also fit in my backpack.

Light yet sturdy
These are very compact when disassembled, and sturdy when in use. The assembly instructions are printed on the staff itself. The height adjustment is very easy even if you have limited mobility in your fingers. I found the handle very comfortable.

NO INSTRUCTIONS TO SET IT UP. VIDEOS ARE INCOMPLETE
I am so frustrated the videos that don't explain how to set up this product. I'm in pain, I'm injured and I need this thing to get to walk out of the house. All your videos rush through setting up the stick in pieces. I can see them doing something with their hands at the top of the stick or the "lock" they mention. But they don't EXPLAIN it. I'm not a mindreader. You need to explain the lock, where it is, how to find it, how to activate it, instead of just taking for granted that people will figure it out themselves. There is all this slow blah, blah taking it out of the wrapper, then ZIP with no explanation through the lock set-up, and then slow down for the height WHICH THE CUSTOMER CANNOT DO UNTIL THEY GET THE LOCK RIGHT. I'll stop wriitng now, before I blow a gasket.
