So pleased with this purchase!
So pleased with this purchase! They are very sturdy and the break down very easily for storage and transport. They are very well made, and they look so cute in addition to being very well made and durable. I used these on an 8 mile hike under a heat advisory, and would still call them comfortable. I use one and I gave my 11 year old the other, and the added bit of support added such stability, especially on those hellacious inclines. The material is durable and easy to clean. And at this point, I have used them on numerous hikes and they have held up so well. Would buy again.

Amazing for the price. Perfect!
Easy to fold up and travel with. They are sturdy enough and work well. I just use them in hiking in Costa Rica. They provided great traction, improved balance, and weight distribution.

Well made and a great price
I wanted a collapsible, lightweight and durable pole to be used as a wading staff for fishing. I wanted aluminum over carbon fiber for durability in rocky situations. These poles are well made, extend and collapse with minimal effort. The price for these is well below the dedicated collapsible wading poles marketed for fishing and you get a pair instead of just one. These do not come with a lanyard, as the wading staffs do, but a lanyard is easy to make. If you buy these poles for fishing you might want to consider making or buying a pouch to wear on your belt that has semi-rigid sides to make it easier to remove and insert the pole with one hand. They do come with individual bags for storage that can be attached to a wading belt, but these bags are bit more difficult to use one handed, since they collapse when nothing is in them.

Well built, with one obvious weakness.
While researching for a new set of poles, I found many complaints about how the rubber feet would wear quickly and that the carbide tip would pierce through the rubber feet. I thought the solution was to find poles with threads at the tip that would help keep the carbide tips from slipping and piercing the rubber feet. That is the main reason why I chose these poles. To my surprise, the designers went one step further. There are metal washers at the inside bottom of the rubber feet. This will do a better job at keeping the carbide tips from piercing the rubber feet and cause premature wear. My biggest concern for a single point of failure with this pole design is the locking mechanism for height adjustment. It is made of plastic and will likely break at some point. These poles are described as being made with 7075 aircraft aluminum, which is supposed to be much stronger than the 6061 grade aircraft aluminum, but no matter how hard the pole is, they cannot be used if the locking snap is broken. I hope they learn from this design flaw and replace plastic locking snaps with metal ones. The best thing to do is to tighten the locking snaps just enough to keep the pole's components from sliding into each other, but not any tighter so as to reduce the stress point that would cause the plastic to break apart. With minor and slight tightening of the locking tabs, I was able to place both hands onto the top of one pole and lift myself out of a chair. I weigh roughly 180 lbs, so each pole, with very slight tightness adjustment to the locking snaps, is able to hold a lot of that weight. The height adjustment for these poles ranges from 110cm to 130cm. At 5'10" (177cm), I found the height adjustment at the 114cm mark easily meets the 90 degree forearm position needed for me, with plenty of room to spare for adjusting further. Five notches down would be the minimum height. It seems these poles are designed for tall people in mind, or for those who prefer to hold poles at a high position instead of the 90 degree forearm position. In conclusion, I think these poles will suffice and hopefully will last for a while. In the meantime, I will be searching for ones with metal locking snaps, and inserting metal washers inside the rubber feet if they do not already exist.

Great versatile poles!
I purchased these poles right before a trip to the Great Sand Dunes based off the price, positive reviews, and how compact they are. They were easy to assemble and felt sturdy when I used them to hike the Sand Dunes. I used the spike attachment and they worked great. Excited to use them in other terrain.

Perfect Except for One Little Thing
These poles were a great addition to my National Parks hiking trip. I recommend practicing how to assemble them before your first use, or keeping the directions handy the first few times. They’re compact and lightweight for packing, don’t have sharp metal tips that might raise TSA concerns, and provide excellent support when hiking uphill. The grips are comfortable, and adjusting the height is quick and easy. The only minor downside for me was that the boot-shaped foot I used for uphill hiking tended to rotate. It didn’t affect performance, but it was a bit annoying.

DO NOT BUY YOU WILL REGRET EVERY PENNY!!!!!
DO NOT BUY AT ANY COST. The most worst money I have ever spent on anything in my lifetime. Negative twenty trillion stars if that were a possibility. Poles do not fit as you would expect (like tent poles) and do not stand together up to being lifted by the handle. I’m not prone to leaving reviews but this is by far, light years, away from the biggest piece of junk ever. Avoid and if injured PLEASE sue!!! Unbelievable junk.
