Updated Review after over 3 years use: I wanted to update my review as not many products have a review after several year's use. I have read what I wrote years ago and I stand by it, I wouldn't be without this Vitamin C serum. I have applied it every day now for years. I am now a few months off 50 and still have oily skin. and rosacea but so rarely get outbreaks that I think this Vitamin C is still helping. SAP is a form of vitamin C which is known to help control acne, although roascea is different perhaps that's why it SAP (sodium ascorbyl phosphate) has helped me as well. A raised keloid scar I have had since 18 that used to be very hard to cover with make up is now flat and so faint that I have to look hard to even see it! I wish I could say when this occurred but the change was so subtle - just one day I was applying make up and realised I wasn't struggling to cover the scar. I still feel tears of joy come to my eyes when I remember that moment - I have struggled with my skin for decades and that scar used to really upset me. I don't think this stops wrinkles but then I don't think anything topical, other than a good sunscreen, can slow down sun damage/ageing. However I do think this has slowed down collagen loss in my skin. Before I started using it I was beginning to get large noticeable shadows on either side of my mouth - I called it the catfish look - but those shadows have significantly reduced and are now just small, faint patches less than the size of my fingernail on my little finger. I like variety in my skincare - this is the only thing I have worn daily for years as the first step in my skincare so closest to my skin. I never miss putting it on and I credit it for these positive changes to my skin, even though I'm approaching 50. If you try it, please stick with it because the improvements over several years use were so subtle that I didn't notice them until I discovered the massive improvement to that scar. That then made me look at my face more closely and I realised the catfish look had gone. Original review: I am now on my third bottle of this Vitamin C serum. I wouldn't want to be without it! This serum has replaced one I was using that was double the price. For people with dry skin - you will need a moisturiser on top. The Vitamin C serum dries within seconds so you can then add your usual moisturiser. For people with oily skin (like myself) - depending on how oily you are you can wear the serum alone and put your make up on top or add your usual moisturiser on top. I mainly leave my skin 5 minutes, then put foundation straight on top. But, even at 46, I have very oily skin. The serum also works well if you want to layer other products on top. If layering I only put ONE of the following on top of it before applying foundation: - A gel moisturiser. - A light moisturiser. - A heavier moisturiser. In all cases the serum has never caused piling, The moisturiser sits well on top of it and I have no issues applying make up. Now to the serum itself. Here are the main benefits I've observed from several month's use: - Brightens and smooths the skin and seems to minimise scarring. Evidence: I have Rosacea and my skin comes out in welts, usually hormonal lay triggered outbreaks. I started using this serum at the time of a bad break out, I was in despair because usually I end up with more scarring as the welts heal. My usual skincare had kept me welt free for months but on that flare up it seemed to be doing nothing. I switched to this Vitamin C serum which I'd bought and forgotten to try! After 3 days the welts were almost gone and when they finished healing I had no scars. My skin felt smooth very quickly. Clearly I'm NOT saying this is a cure for Rosacea, just that it helped to restore my skin to normality when I was having a bad attack. I kept using the serum as I noticed my skin was brighter and 'glowy' and I haven't used my former high end (double the price) serum at all since then. On good skin days I can wear less foundation, though I still need some as I have years old scars and some thread veins. - Great base for make up because it dries fast and never piles. - A pleasure to use as lovely orange scent. This is not overpowering but people who don't like their skincare to have any smell might not like this serum. - It doesn't sting, even when I was having that bad attack. - Reasonable price and good sized bottle. I have always bought this serum at full price and think it's well worth the money. I was paying double for a Vitamin C serum which was much heavier on the skin, sometimes stung and did less for my skin than this one. Downsides: I haven't had any. But someone with dry skin may find their skin feels tight once the serum is dried. That is easily remedied by adding their usual moisturiser. I hope people find this useful. There is no one product that will suit everybody but this one is good value and, especially for oily skins, is worth a try as it dries matte.

I have skin that is combination of oily and some dry patches on my chin, proned to breakouts every now and again... Am 42 year old lady, over the years, i have tried all kinds of creams, lotions, potions for my face, from the cheapest to the most expensive in the market, from over the counter products to the GP-prescribed creams and nothing had worked. I also tried and used obagi nuderm for the last 1 year but my face seemed to be the same... dull-looking ...non-glowy skin... I've always struggled with a few blemish prone skin and have been searching for products that will help clear things up. I usually use a different more expensive serum but thought I ought to change and find something more cost effective. This serum is almost 3 times cheaper than my old one (Agera MagiPeptide- I'm a massive Agera fan), and is a bigger bottle too so that's a good start :-) The serum arrived with both a pipette type dispenser and a pump spray dispenser so you attach whichever you prefer. My preference is the pipette dropper as it's more controlled. The serum is a bit thinner than I expected but I find it applies well. It has an orange type scent which is good if you like oranges, not so good if you don't! It absorbs into my skin surprisingly easily, and I then apply my moisturiser and sun block over it with no problems. Have been using it for around 2 weeks now and must say I'm impressed. I think my complexion does look a little clearer so will be sticking to this until I finish the bottle!

This is a fabulous product!!!I bought this serum with an open mind.Having read all the positive reviews it sounded amazing but I couldn't imagine how much of a visible difference this serum could make to my skin. Honestly, I can say my skin looks younger after using it for a week (I'm in my early 40s). I've used it mainly in the mornings under my usual moisturiser, but twice a week I've used it at night under night cream too....in the morning my skin looks visible better: more glow, plumper more youthful looking...a bit of radiance really. The serum arrived quickly after ordering.The communications from the seller are great & quick (especially re the option of a dropper pipette or a pump) I've used serums in the past and felt they were ok but never re-bought as I felt they were expensive & nothing to write home about. I will definitely buy this serum again though, it's not expensive compared to others on the market and it actually makes a very visible improvement to skin. If you try this I'll bet you won't regret it Additional comment posted 28th Sept 2015: I've continued using this serum and have been inspired to add to my original review. I have written only 3 product reviews in my whole life, so that reflects how impressed I am with this fabulous stuff! My skin looks plumped up in a youthful way: like I've just had a facial. I've received comments from friends and family about how good my skin looks (all unprompted and simply made as passing comments). No skin outbreaks and my face feels fantastic in the morning after using this under my usual night cream...still feels moisturised. I'm a real sceptic when it comes to skincare products but this is one I'll be buying again and again. It smells fresh but subtle & is half the price of some competitors serums. I bought a bottle of this back in December having read the great reviews. I was still a little sceptical and hadn't used a serum before so didn't really know what to expect. The first time I put it on under my moisturiser, I went out for the day and caught my reflection in a shop mirror and was quite surprised to see how "dewy" and radiant my skin looked ...it was really noticeable. I am approaching the big 5 0 and had been thinking about splashing out on a very expensive serum from Iceland which retails at about £125 for 15ml and gets good reviews but thought I would have a search around on Amazon first and I'm so glad I did. Have used it every day since, mostly mornings and sometimes evenings (if I can be bothered). It smells really nice, of oranges, and I really do think it has made a difference. I have normal to dry skin and it can be sensitive to some products, but this has caused no irritation whatsoever. I usually use a mix of La Roche Posay for cleansing, Dr Hauschka and Nivea for moisturising. Was going to reorder a bottle the other day as I was running out but remembered the company had sent me an email back in January offering a free bottle in return for an impartial review. I emailed to ask if the offer still stood and they said yes ... it arrived on my doorstep the very next day. I rarely leave reviews but I really do like this product a lot and this has given me the prod I needed to post one. Thank you Natural Earth Laboratory - great company, great product.

I purchased this product of Vitamin C based on the size of the bottle for value for money against the competitors & looking at the ingredients this seemed to be the best for all natural ingredients. The reviews won it over on my decision & ahead I went & placed my order. Within a couple of days here I had it, very fast & informative delivery right from the packaging to the useful note & email advising you that the bottle can leak if left with the eyedropper in & knocked over (to my dismay I found this out after my little girl knocked it over after only a few days! 😡) but they did say! . . After a speedy 2nd delivery (Wow!) And a couple of weeks in, I apply this to my face & neck every morning & bedtime, I am 33 yrs & this summer really noticed my pigmentation on my forehead & upper cheekbones altering revealing dark patches & change I wasn't too happy about. It's rather runny & I liken it to applying pure fresh orange juice straight to my face but it absorbs immediately & is incredibly refreshing. I can't get enough! As for my skin & the results - massive improvement, no kidding. My skin is radiant, melamine fading (under sun exposure too) soft, and fine lines decreasing. The bonus is it really takes care of any spots too, once one comes I apply this & the next morning gone! No redness, nothing. It's like a miracle. This is my secret to success now 😊 The company are just wonderful & contact you to make sure products received & you are happy with your purchase (And tips 😉) After I'd had 2 bottles within a month (after my 1st spill) they even contacted me to offer me an obligatory free bottle. I was sceptical at first but no within 2 days there I had it, same great product same size bottle. How can I not be absolutely delighted, this vitamin C Serum by Natural Earth Laboratory is truly amazing, excellent value for money, very good & courteous seller & what amazing results. Update *finished bottle 3-4months use* Okay, so this does help heal recent marks/scarring. No difference on older marks. Not a miraculous product, has very slightly evened skintone. The skin feels really soft after use however this dries the skin like crazy (which in turn means excessive oil production). My face hasn't really ever been dry, this dries it out so bad. I think it's best to use this only on marks only and not the entire face. Would I rebuy it? Probably not. It sucks a lot of moisture out of ur skin... That just can't be good. I look pretty much the same. Product only slightly helps prevent further marks occurring. Tips: moisturise really well after use!!! Old review.... Day one: Skin feels immediately smooth... Like baby skin. Feels oh so good. Day three: Skin feels a bit dry (I've never suffered from dry skin!!) still being persistent on use and using a very hydrating moisturiser. Day Seven: Not liking how dry my skin feels after this... Even with moisturiser and a silicone primer all my foundation look cakey...no matter how little I use or how long I wait for it to 'set in'. Verdict so far: Makes skin smooth, better texture but dries up slowly. Does not bode well with makeup. Hasn't changed any of my pigmentation issues... Freckles and pigmentation look the same tbh, maybe the tiniest bit less grey...but no miracle so far. Will update later. Useful facts: Asian skin, freckles, pigmentation, dark circles Been using it day and night after cleansing Product has no odour... Or annoying smell...just a hint of orange.

I have been using this serum for about a year and I wouldn't be without it now. I've always used expensive, designer brands of skincare, just because of the names really, I suppose I've been a bit of a skincare snob. But I read about vitamin C serums and thought I'd give it a go. I was influenced by the reviews for this product and I must admit the 60ml bottle was a bonus. It smells beautiful, just like fresh oranges, which is lovely, especially in the mornings when I'm like a zombie, it really perks me up. It gives a slight tingle and it makes my skin feel firm, but not in a tight, drying way, more in a youthful, lifting sort of way. People have commented that I look radiant, even my husband who doesn't usually notice that sort of thing. I can be a bit of a one for leaving my make up on after a late night, but ever since I've been using it I've taken my make up off every night because I love how my skin looks in the mornings after using it the night before, it definitely makes my skin glow. Also my right eye had a darker shadow under it than the other one from pigmentation from sun damage, but now it's almost gone. The only reason I've knocked one star off is because it is quite 'splashy' because it's a thinner consistency than a lot of serums, not in a watered down way, it's very potent, but it does tend to run over my hands when I apply it. I wouldn't be without this serum now, it beats anything else I've used. Love it.

This is the first time i have ever purchased a vitamin C serum through Amazon sold by Natural Earth Laboratory. It is non-irritating to the skin of my face which is a huge factor to consider. Within a few weeks of using this amazing product, the entire skin had tightened up and my entire face is now noticeably more youthful in appearance, vibrantly elastic and feels great . The seller was very efficient, I received it two days after placing my order. Moreover, I like the fact that the seller did a follow up to ensure I received it.

This is a very nice moisturiser for oily, sensitive skin, I think. Smells like fresh orange. I bought my first bottle a while back and liked it so much got a second one. I'm only taking one star away because I am not sure how much benefit this serum has brought to my skin. Other than not feeling dry or too oily I am not sure if it's actually doing any good. My skin is not flaking or anything. And I don't really have wrinkles. I do however have some acne marks and dark spots. Those have not cleared up even though I've been using this for months. I will continue to use this because most creams don`t agree with my skin. Volume is good. Check photo for size. Bottle is bigger than the average serum sold on Amazon.
