Bilt Hamber Auto Wash Car Shampoo (500ml)

This is really great stuff. I normally use Bilt Hamber Touchless via the foam cannon and pressure washer for the frequent washes, but when you do actually need a little elbow grease, this stuff is really good. Only needs a small amount per wash (so a bottle lasts ages) and makes removing caked-on salt and dirt an absolute piece of cake with minimal scrubbing required. A must have in your car cleaning kit!

I'm loyal to Bilt Hamber for their Auto Wash - I've bought this for the last 5 years without fail. It does a great job as cleaning - it's highly concentrated so lasts forever even with weekly/bi-weekly washes. The solution is really "filmy" meaning the mitt just glides easily over the surfaces, picking up dirt and protecting the car from getting scratched in the process. Will continue buying this until they stop making it!

Bilt and hamber have done it again! I know this product seems a bit more expensive than some other car shampoos, but I promise this is a high quality product. No word of a lie, I put only about 5-10ml of product into this big bucket, and you can see how nicely it foamed up. The suds do not, however, stay on the car. I know some people like a shampoo that is extremely suddy on their car, however, although it doesn't leave a load of suds on the car, it does absolutely demolish the dirt on your car. My personal sequence is: -Bilt and hamber auto foam pre wash -Bilt and hamber auto wash 2 buckets -Turtle wax, wax and dry I've had incredible results from this sequence! Great product, and remember, although it is quite expensive, a little bottle goes a very long way due to the dilution ratios.

Cant argue it doesnt clean well, because its great shampoo. As with all bilt hamber, it'll work well, no nonsense, no smells, just function. If you're a weekend warrior as its called, then you may find the experience underwhelming compared to the likes of ofthers that have funky bottles and smells. I actually quite like the smells others make as it wafts around the driveway and most clean as well as they smell so for me once this is done, i wont buy again unless let down by others. If i ran a business or just want something that works, this would be up there, but as Ill be out in the cold over the next few months, having a nice smelling or looking product (think funky coloured snow foams and wheel cleaner that doesnt smell of rotting bodies) makes the clean easier, more enjoyable Sounds snowflakey i know but it is what it is, else I just wont bother!

So I got this to wash my car before I clay polish and wax. It says it has no wax or nothing just washes the car which is what I needed as I was using it before polish and was going to use paste wax. It foams up brilliantly and a little really does go a long way! I haven't done the math to put a cost to how much it costs per wash but I think it's good value for money. Also, if your car has got quiet a few chips and such you might want to use this as it isn't going to cause rust (I don't think so) nor damage the paint. I will only be using this before I wax so my wax goes onto clearcoat. But yeah, great product will definetly recommend to someone who's new into car detailing and also someone who wants a nice clean car, but you may need add to wax for added protection. Btw, I'm new to car detailing!

Recently bought a MKV Golf GT140 which appeared a little "unloved" by the previous owner. The silver paintwork was dull and had no real depth of shine. I tried washing and polishing with the usual products supplied by that famous retail park auto boutique but just couldn't get the result i was looking for. After looking around the web i saw an article on this shampoo and the wax product by the same manufacturer. I cannot add anything too different to whats already been posted in the other reviews other than to say that.....yes it's expensive (not unreasonably though), comes in a small amount and you really do only need 5ml in a bucket of water. It didn't foam a great deal for me but it really did give a great wash and certainly appeared to cut through the dirt. In it's own right it made my cars paintwork shinier than it had been when using other shampoos and it also repelled water meaning drying the car was easier. Coupled with Bilt Hamber wax i have to say my cars paintwork looks quite a few levels above what it did when i bought it. It even feels silkier. Recommended

Repeat customer. Effective, and tiny amount goes a long way. Can remove tar and stuck on insects., so needing the solvent-based bug and remover a lot less.

I just love all BH products. Nothing fancy or flashy, just quality, high performing products at great prices. It's hard to believe that this stuff will work at 5ml in a bucket of water, but it's hands down the best car shampoo I've ever used, been using solely it since 2014, on my 3rd bottle!!!

Sehr gutes Shampoo. Guter Schaum, bleibt auch bestehen und bei 5-7ml pro 10l Eimer Wasser nicht zu toppen beim Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Cleaned the outside of my 2018 Subaru Wrx perfectly. I used as directed (5ml or 1 teaspoon of chemical) in a warm bucket of water. Worked perfectly and left no water marks. I'll buy again.

This is a professional product, that when used correctly, cleans your paintwork without leaving a soapy residue. It does not foam up, as other cheap shampoos do. It's a very slick shampoo that feels very safe to use on soft paintwork. It can also be used a clay bar lubricant when diluted to the correct ratio.

Cercando di essere piú sintetico possibile ,è un ottimo sapone , il piú concentrato sul mercato. 5ml di prodotto in teoria bastano per 10 litri di acqua ( diluizione 1 a 2000 ) ma io preferisco fare 1 a 1500 anche perchè l'acqua che ho è molto calcarea. Ha una consistenza quasi acquosa , senza colore e odore ( ha un leggero odore nel barattolo ma non nell'uso). Per renderlo facilmente utilizzabile lo diluisco con acqua faccio 100ml prodotto e 300ml acqua. Cosi facendo usando 40ml di prodotto ( facilmente misurabile ) ogni 15 litri di acqua ottengo la diluizione 1 a 1500 che cercavo,altrimenti puro sarebbe facile sbagliare. IMPORTANTISSIMO non mischiare con altri saponi, ho provato con una piccola quantità ed è diventato gelatina , va usato da solo
