Dudu OsunTropical Pure Natural African Black Soap - Pack of 4

I planned to use this on my face and body because I have uneven skin tone on my back as well as my face. This seemed very impractical since I have 2 showers a day on average and 1 bar lasted me about a week or 2 max. It left me feeling squeaky clean but you need to replenish the moisture as soon as possible, I used the Alaffia shower gel (another natural black soap) because it's moisturising and does a similar thing. I would use Dudu Osen on my face with my clarisonic, it was fine initially but quickly started to burn and I couldn't use it as often. My all time favourite black soap is the block bar (The one you can get from Coastal Scents, the big block of black soap that you need to cut up). I noticed my skin tone evening out after about a week and a half of using the block soap and it left me squeaky clean without drying my skin out so much. Also, I use it everyday on my skin and it is starting to clear up, I feel comfortable without make up and it. Even so, this is a 5* seller with fast shipping.

One of the best soaps I have come across though it really comes into it's own in a soft water area. So if you have a water softener you'll fall in love with this soap and likely not want to buy anything else. Personally I did not like the version they produce with citrus added. My advice is to stick to the original version.

LOVE love this mother earth soap. I have used it daily since January and waited to give an informed review. It is lovely and works exactly as described and is good value for money. Being a DIY product junkie, I have since re-ordered and I certainly cannot imagine using any normal soap again. It leaves my skin feeling fresh, cleansed and baby soft. I also use it on my hair as I like that its made from natural products, smells lovely and leaves my scalp and hair feeling cleansed and soft. Good value for money. This is a great product and make sure you place it in a soap dish.

Bought this as a few people recommended for eczema or being suitable for someone with skin complaints.The bar is very compact, long lasting and does make a lather, leaves skin clean. However, skin is left dry and in need of a lot of moisturiser. It is not suitable for hair wash, only body.

I have had acne for over 20 years on my face, chest and back and this soap has been amazing. Now, it hasn't completely cured my skin I still get a few spots around that time of the month and when I'm really stressed but this is the clearest my skin has been by just using a soap. I usually use some sort of acne face wash with benzoyl peroxide etc and spend a lot of money on my skin. I'm trying to switch to all natural products. I have hyperpigmented skin and it's been a challenge trying to find something that will get rid of the ugly marks acne leaves behind but it's so much nicer putting on makeup. My face is a lot smoother. My only problem is the black scarring but hopefully this soap will eventually help in that area. Much more affordable than all the other crap I buy.

This is amazing value for money, the smell is very distinct for real African black soap do you can definitely tell that it’s legit (there are lots claiming to be natural black soap but this is the real deal!), after 3 months of using still half way through my first bar and use it everyday twice a day! You’ll never get a cleaner feeling on your face/body after using this soap. Will forever be buying this! P.s expect the soap to turn the water and surfaces brown, it’s normal for this type of natural soap, also lathers so so well!

I have been using these soaps for a few years. Sometimes I alternate with other soaps/cleansers but I always come back to this one because it works and it works exceptionally well.It helps to refine my skin, makes it smoother and brighter, helps reduce chicken-bump skin ( as long as followed by a moisturiser). It also helps to reduce and dry out acne. It can be abit drying so it is best to use a good moisturiser, each time this soap is used. Argan oil works really well, as does aloe vera oil.During my journey to the 'right' product, I have used black soaps that were pretty expensive for what they were but I can honestly say that Dudu Osun delivers the same result but at a fraction of the cost.I hope this soap is never discontinued.Thank you.

This soap lathers really well and is moisturing. Use it on face and body and find it does not dry skin out like some soaps. Also used for washing tattoos as mild and moisturising. It does make the water very brown but that is to be expected - it's the soap and not dirt!!! would buy again.
