Unfortunately I had to send the straightener back. I clearly misread the description, it is not what I require.HOWEVER!The delivery, packaging & timing was very good! GOOD JOB!

Ok so this is a kinda two in one because you can straighten but also make curls. The ceramic plates heat up quickly. Has a temperature range from 280- 450fHas a safety shut off ( which to me is important)The cord is quite long so its a plus.The settings are on the side. Not super easy to push so dont worry about accidentally putting it on.Straitening with it is super easy..the curling part a little more challenging. Theres a technique which I did not master yet. I DO find its really pricey.Pretty and functional but way too pricey.Pretty design and colours on the actual iron.

First time using this kind of straightening/curling iron. I like that it's a 2 in 1. Straightening hair is easy to do with this iron. It's the curling part I'm having a little trouble with. It'd be helpful to have a tutorial/demo vid on the product page. It would really benefit beginners or those trying out this product for the first time.Before ordering, I did watch a few videos of how to use a 2 in 1 straight/curl iron. Most of the videos I saw, the iron had an L shape on one side of the clamp. This Aria Beauty straight twist iron does not have that L shape, but has 6 dots on one side of the clamp. I'm not sure what they're for but I try to use them as reference, as well as which side the controls, screen, and hinge are on.I was very confused the first time I used this for curling hair. I tried following the instructions and some videos. Few times I would get a nice curl, then not be able to replicate it. As a beginner, I find it hard to get a consistent curl and also hard to get the curl to start at a specific length on the hair. A lot of times, there will be no curl and I end up just straightening my hair, or I get a very subtle wave or a curl only at the very end of my hair. My hair has also gotten stuck and strands have been pulled out because of the pulling motion that you do with this twist iron. For the most part, I do like using this twist iron. The fact that it can straighten and curl is convenient and I'll continue to use it until I get the hang of it.The Aria Beauty twist iron comes in a nice decorated box that magnetically closes. The box arrived ripped on one corner however. The twist iron has a pretty and fun design but the design looks like it will scratch off over time. First day of use and it has already started coming off near the plates. There is no glove, heat resistant pad, or bag included with the iron. I really think it should come with these items. The iron is too hot to hold on the outside where the plates are. An improvement would be to have an area at the tip that is cool enough to hold. This would allow for better control. Also sometimes I feel I need to hold the clamp closed with my other hand and I can't do so because it's hot to hold on that end. A heat resistant pad is needed to set this down on since the iron is hot on the outside. Also, it would be nice if it came with a bag to store the iron. I feel like for the price of $100, it could've came with all these necessary accessories.

This is an amazing little straightener that can double as a curling iron, it heats up very quickly and has a side operational heat setting so you don't accidentally Turn It Up. One of the greatest features about this little straightener is that it has a memory feature that remembers the last setting you used even when you turn it off and unplug it. Speaking of turning it off and unplugging it it also has a automatic off feature in case you forget to turn it off. It has dual power settings so if you are traveling and you have a different wattage it can accommodate both. Also if you're traveling this little straightener is small enough to not be too bulky or take up too much room in your luggage. It is tourmaline and ceramic so it has very good even heat distribution and is more gentle on the hair. I still would recommend keeping the heat setting as low as you can get away with to prevent damage and make sure to use a heat spray as well. This is an easy curling iron straightener to use it just takes a little practice to get the hang of it. It makes beautiful soft cascading curls that have a nice glass shine or a nice smooth even straightened look. This straightener can just be wiped off with a dry cloth if it gets any buildup on it. The build quality of the straightener is very good it has no snags or rough spots that will catch your hair and the cord has a swivel base and is very long. This is a very easy to operate straightener and a small enough to be comfortable in the hand. It comes in a nice box for presentation I would make a lovely gift. I would definitely recommend this straightener, curler.
