I love the taste of these dulse flakes
I love the taste of these dulse flakes. I have just started using this to help me to detox from heavy metals and I thought it would be a chore to take every day but it is superb on salads and fish as it really enhances the flavour. Also, being flakes it seems easy to digest.

Iodine health
Tastes a little like its been smoked. I use it when cooking up any beans, meat or vegi dishes. Gives you your daily dose of iodine which helps the thyroid, testes and breast health and hormone health. sprinkle in smoothies, on salads. Sprinkle in on your meat when cooking to break down the proteins, softening it. I AM NOT A DOCTOR.

Excellent quality. Being vegan it's difficult finding food with any taste that isn't artificial or without adding lots of salt and seasonings. This is a great boost to salads and stir fries. I love it.

Really stronf sea flavour which I love because I was always a fan of sea food and this now does the treat plus it comes full of micronutrients. I add it in pastas or salads and it allows me to not have to use salt in them.

Maine coast Dulse under Amazon's Atlantic Dulse section
Having purchased this from under the Amazon heading of Atlantic Dulse, I was surprised to find it was from Maine, which I had overlooked. I was rather disconcerted at first to read on the packet that it contained heavy metals, so best avoided if pregnant. Atlantic Dulse is recommended by Anthony William in his 2 superb Medical Medium books. Dulse may contain heavy metals, but it also attracts metals from the body and causes their elimination, so I wasn't too worried. When I later read more reviews, I noticed one person had found several bits of shell or pebble in the flakes, which is also mentioned on the packet as possible, so I check for this by spreading flakes on a white plate first. Nothing so far! The FAQ section is quite comprehensive and reassuring.
