it's basic chemistry that reaction time varies with temperature (& I know that's important as I'm an ex-lab tech too) but the instructions say to read at exactly 1 minute with no mention of leaving it longer if the room's very cold (I don't use heating, just wear more in winter), so not exactly good there.Having said that, the colour-comparison chart is easy to use & the tests do seem accurate, as far as I can tell.Importantly, this was the only test I could find that tests creatinine level, important for indicating any problem with kidney function.A good price for an important test.

I've been diagnosed with kidney problems but these strips say otherwise.Take the results with a pinch of salt.

This kit is very good when you are watching your kidney function.

Went to pregnancy assessment unit yesterday with suspected high creatinine, when I phoned and enquired about test, they told me to come straight in with tests as they were concerned. I did this for kidney pain, and it said I had 8.8mmol/l which is high, I had an emergency blood count done and everything was normal. Really panicked everybody. Test was done correctly and test was looked at by midwives and Dr's so, test is unreliable.
