Extremely Happy
I have always wanted to get a Filofax, and Iām extremely happy I decided to purchase one. I was unsure what size would suit me best, but the a5 works perfectly. The Filofax came nicely packaged along with the 2022 planner, bright coloured lined a5 paper, to-do list refills, a notepad and white lined a5 paper refills. The Filofax fits all of this along with expense and finance refills I order separately. It is good to note that while the refills are a5, the actual Filofax is bigger that an a5 size and may not suit if you want a smaller compact planner.

Rings not closing correctly
I love the size and all the inserts that came with it but the rings are not closing correctly causing the paper to snag when moving across.

My new best friend.
I am actually slightly embarrassed by how much I like this. I am old enough to have had one during the 80's which, through much use, fell into a state of genteel decay, and is something that I have never been able to bring myself to throw away.As a writer married to an artist (you can imagine how irritating that can be, can't you?) our life is a bit erratic and disorganised. We like to think it's creative, spontaneous, and Bohemian, but, to be brutally honest, given all the bits stated and adding them to the fact that we're getting on a bit, chaotic and annoying would be nearer the mark.So I bought us one each. My husband is experiencing what he calls 'blank canvas' syndrome; doesn't know what to write in his. I, on the other hand, have filled several sheets with everything from paint colour idea and recipes to plot twists and scraps of dialogue. It certainly is a lovely thing. The size is (as with so many things) important. There is something substantial and satisfying about it. The colour is rich and vibrant. It feels important and significant. Something to connect with on a daily basis. Not just to record appointments in, but to arrange an appointment with. Something to make time for. A new best friend.

Filofax A5 Saffiano Organiser - Aquamarine
I LOVE it.SIZE: Its a great size for organising / journalling & so its brilliant for home or office use, if you want something more large scale. However its too big to be a practical portable size (I like the 'personal' size for general use being a more a 'middle of the road size' and the 'compact' when travelling). I bought the Filofax A5 Saffiano Organiser for home use as a planner/organiser. It has plenty of room to add more inserts as it has nice big sized rings. WHAT'S IN IT: It comes with 6 numbered dividing pages, 4 pages of to do lists, 8 sheets each of white, blue, green & pink lined pages, 4 graph type squared pages, 8 blank pages, 8 pages for contacts, a 2016 diary with the usual personal info pages & 3 pages for notes, a 21cm ruler, an acrylic dividing sheet, a polypropylene 'pocket' and a note pad of white lined paper (already hole punched). The inside front cover has slots to take credit / loyalty / business cards & a flap where you can tuck in any extra bits n bobs. The strap is long enough to be able to add extra pages & still be able to clip it shut. There is a elasticated loop to hold a pen (not included, but it would be great if it came with a pen to match the organiser). Its beautiful & I love the colour.

This is my new best friend. Soft cover
This is my new best friend. Soft cover, excellent colour, not garish, looks smart and professional. The quality is as you would expect from a filofax product. Remember that it is size 'A5', as I have bought the wrong size inserts before! It has a good 'starter pack' of inserts to get you going. I added a few more dividers and lined paper. Some smart 'pockets' for business cards on the inside front cover. There is a useful section on the inside back cover for the hardback part of a (correctly sized - A5 portrait!) notepad to slip into. I also bought a hole punch for agendas and other odd and ends that I needed to file. The reason for choosing size A5 was so that A4 sheets (eg meeting agendas, hospital letters, bills to pay, etc) could be neatly folded and filed in the organiser, along with notes that I had made from the meeting / appointment. I originally paid for an A4 organiser, but it was huge, bulky and heavy. This makes my life so much easier, I am quite literally more organised and I look like I mean business!

Exceeded my expectation
Great product. Well built, mechanism works bit stiff at first of course. Great colour, I thought it would be bright but its abit more of a dark shade. If your a bloke thinking its abit feminine I disagree the colour is great. Loads of pages, the diary is a week to 2 pages which looks good. Paper feels great, the plastic pouch I got is not ziplock (minor annoyance). I'm extremely happy that the filofax calendar recognises some sikh historical dates and with appropriate wording aswell - well done and thank you.Overall - just what the title says..recommended.

Good Value
I used to use a fab leather Filofax which I sold as they became less popular. Have been using a lesser priced option which has worked well but has failed quite quickly. These organisers are definitely useful for my job and I now cannot do without so decided to purchase this item. Not as nice as a leather one, but a fraction of the price, and although not used yet, it seems quite sturdy and I believe it will last longer than the inferior product. Looking forward to using. Delivered very promptly.

Could have been .....
When first opening the parcel I could not have been more delighted. This Saffiano Filofax is beautifully soft, the Aquamarine is softly muted and would have been a joy to use.Unfortunately, the ring mechanism didn't work; they would have had to be prised apart rather than using the two levers which wouldn't depress. Prising them open with the Filofax full wouldn't have worked and isn't part of the design anyway. As this is the second Filofax with this problem - the other was a personal size zipped Malden (also returned) - perhaps quality control isn't what it should be. Sadly.
