I purchased this a couple of months ago and as I’m a home baker who enjoys making celebration cakes I was nervous of using it going off the mixed reviews but today I was making an Easter cake for the house so I wasn’t too worried if it didn’t go right when I used itI can honestly say I shouldn’t of worried it was so easy to use with perfect results as long as you keep the feet in contact with the work bench at all times and move it side to side slowly you will get brilliant results I cut 4 layers in the time it would usually take me to cut 1 using a knife and it was perfectly straight and I know all layers are the same size I definitely won’t be using a knife againI would 100% recommend this product and as usual delivery was quick to

This cake slicer does produce nice even cakes but it can be a bit fiddly to use. Starting the cake off is the hardest part, where it can take a huge piece out of your cake if you’re not careful.I found if you start it off really slowly and when you’ve made the first slice, hold the top of the cake while you move it back and forth. I found you had to hold the cake where the slicer is going to come out from otherwise you might risk losing another piece coming out of your cake. This is a bit of an issue as I didn’t really want my hand being sliced with the wire.You can change the setting on it to the height you need. It is a little tricky and I was worried I was going to hurt myself. The wire is so taut, it’s hard to get leverage on it safely to change the setting. There is a knack however! If you hold the cake slicer in front of you lengthways with the side you want to change the setting on against you.. hold the top with one hand and with your index finger and thumb, push the wire away from you. This takes it out of its notch and allows you to move it to the setting you need without fiddling near the wire.I did manage to get even cakes without any injuries. It is a little annoying to store as it’s quite bulky. You don’t want it somewhere there could be an accident so I’ve had to store it on top of the kitchen cupboards.

The wire is just that, not serrated.You have to apply a lot of pressure.It requires a twisting motion to get through, even on a sponge.Cuts flat though.

No estaba muy seguro a la hora de realizar esta compra de que el producto fuese a ser muy bueno, pero una vez más, Amazon ha superado mis expectativas. El producto es muy fácil de usar, y es un imprescindible si te gusta la pastelería y repostería. Si bien es cierto que las primeras veces, hasta que se le coge el truco puede ser un poco incómodo de utilizar por una sola persona. De cualquier forma, si se usa por una sola persona, tampoco es una dificultad excesiva y con la práctica se hace más fácil su uso.Es super resistente. Cuando lo compré era una de mis grandes dudas, pero lo he usado bastantes veces y el alambre con el que se corta sigue intacto como el primer día, nada destensado... Obviamente, tampoco hay que esperar que el producto vaya a cortar como un cuchillo super afilado, pero cumple con su cometido a la perfección. Para facilitar el uso, se puede marcar la altura, que es regulable, tiene muchos niveles, y en el punto en el que tenemos la altura, clavar un cuchillo afilado, así favoreceremos y facilitaremos el inicio del corte, sobre todo en masas más duras que un simple bizcocho. En resumen una maravilla. Además es bastante ancho, con lo que se puede adaptar desde un pequeño bizcocho de tamaño individual hasta un roscón bastante grande.

Je me débrouillais toujours pour faire cuire plusieurs gâteaux et ne pas à avoir à les découper... Maintenant c'est fini, je gagne un temps fou et le résultat est parfait à chaque découpe. Prix raisonnable, semble de bonne qualité, bonne taille. Il suffit simplement de régler la hauteur du fil, et scier le gâteau en gardant bien les pieds de la trancheuse sur le plan de travail.

Considerato il costo è veramente un ottimo articolo, molto più efficace dei taglia torte tondi che prevedono l'utilizzo del coltello.Con questo riuscite a tagliare anche le torte rettangolari e se poi il pan di spagna vi esce leggermente più gonfio da una parte (succede) è sufficiente regolare il filo più alto da una parte ed ecco che potete fare anche i tagli obliqui !Mi sento di consigliarlo.
