My First Ukulele For Kids: Learn To PLay: Kids

Excellent starter.

My daughters have just turned 4 and 6 so I wanted a very, very simple child-friendly Uke book we could use as a family. This is about as simple as it gets and while the kids are not yet truly fluent readers with adult guidance they've been able to go through it exploring the concept of frets, nots, chord and rhythms. The book therefore does exactly what I wanted. There are not that many songs in the book but they are super-familiar ones so easy to work with as everyone knows the tune.

Great first look at the ukulele. I would recommend. The notes are explained so well. Get this book to start!

We've bought our son a Uke for Xmas as apparently it's a lot easier tha guitar and he's been keen to learn for a while. There are only a couple of books out there specifically for kids.....and his music teacher at school recommended this one. It looks really clear and easy and full of fun cartoon characters and limericks, so I think he's going to find it easy to follow and lots of fun. Can't wait to see his face on Xmas morning !!

Bought as a Christmas gift for my 5 year old music loving grandson. It is fabulous. Really good quality and comes with a carry bag which I didnt expect. Does need to be tuned but an easy to follow online tutorial meant this was easy to do (and I'm not musical!!) Very happy customer. Thank you

Learning as an adult for the first time so thought it would be best to start with the basics. It's a good little book (is little!) but I have come across a number of very silly errors which even someone with no knowledge of music can spot. Kind of annoying that I've had to add my own annotations to a brand new book to amend errors. Made lots of progress quite quickly but I've only had the book for half a week & im finished so it's a bit pricey - also thought I'd learn more than just four chords. A good start but it's not up to the standard that I'd expect for the cost.

It arrived 1 day earlier in good condition. The color blue is not the same as the picture, but it is actually better, it is light blue and it is for my 6 yr old daughter. She loves it. Good quality and perfect package i.e. it includes tuner.

Parece dibujado hace mil años. No es nada práctico para un niño. Promete algo que no cumple y además está anticuado y mal diseñado.

These books are great for the beginner like for our granddaughters...3 & 5 !
