Power Supply for Car Stereo
I use this to power a 5v Kenwood car stereo indoors. It converts the standard 115v into DC and it works perfectly with no noise and barely gets warm. Would definitely purchase again

Very impressed!
Very well built and reasonably priced for `12v 10a.

Works fairly well, voltage regulation could be better perhaps
Tested this in a few applications, ran a DC-powered network switch fine, and comes with a barrel plug to a terminal converter that was helpful for this. I tested with a volt meter and no load this shows 12.31 volts, with a 2.4 amp load it dropped to 12.03 volts. I would assume that nearing full load like 8 amps this could drop to around 11 volts.

Well worth the price, but with a caution.
I put this thing thru a few real world tests, and it seems to hold up fine, with one issue: The adaptor plug.Output voltage under no load holds @ 12.7 volts, tested it several times. Under a load of 60 watts, which is what I have here to test it with, output voltage held @ 11.7 volts, and 4.75 amps after a solid 2 hours powered on. Not bad at all, passed the testing. Now to the adaptor plug.....It's a nice addition, but in my experienced opinion is not designed nor built to withstand anywhere near 10 amps running thru it. At my test current of 4.75 amps, it was very warm, and can only handle a very small gauge wire. That's a combination for meltdown waiting to happen. This would be perfect had it included a more robust adaptor, or even a hardwired plug. The weak point in this power supply is the plug and adaptor. That said, I plan to do a bit of altering on the plug end, cutting it all off and installing a more stout adaptor, such as a 15 amp terminal strip or plug. Then, and only then, will I feel it will perform to specs without the possibility of burning up a cheaply made adaptor.Your results may vary, but for the price, I'd probably grab one again because it does perform well enough.4 Stars!

Works as a replacement
One of my external monitors power cord stopped working and I needed a replacement. This is a universal power cord for that size, and it works for my Asus monitor. Check with whatever you are looking to replace or use this with to make sure it is an AC to DC but otherwise it should work fine!

Bare-bones power supply that gets the job done.
MTYTOT has managed to market a solid 12V power supply capable of providing 10 amps at a value price.I like that the AC power cord is removable, and that it’s a grounded three-conductor cable. I like the power indicator lamp, and also the 10A rating.I didn’t like the absence of UL rating, cooling fan, power switch or an accessible fuse/breaker.In use with a load of approximately three amps, I found that the unit became only slightly warm. However, I believe a cooling fan might be helpful as loads approach the rated output. As noted by another reviewer, the included accessory connector is undersized to handle10 amps.In fairness, it might be difficult to find a well-made power supply at this price that includes all of the nice-to-haves listed above, while also delivering 10 amps. I decided that this MTYTOT 12V 10A power supply has earned a solid four stars for value.

Worked great for LED strips and industrial network switches
This power supply has worked great for bench testing LED strips and industrial network switches. No issues powering the devices. The switches even had the additional load of PoE devices connected to them. Nice to have a higher output power supply that works for so many situations
