Brilliant beach or garden tent
We love to have play time in the garden with my 2 children and we only live 20 minutes from the beach so it's nice to pop there too when it's sunny. For the garden we have a gazebo but it's not practical to take to take to the zoo and it's also too hefty to move around the garden easily. We have a small (and I mean small) pop up tent but it's no good for both children to play in as there just isn't the room.I saw BFULL do several sizes of tent and this one seemed perfect for what I wanted. When it arrived, I opened the packaging in front of the 3 year old who instantly recognised it as a tent and wanted to play in it.I took it out to the garden, set it up and had a look around it. It was quite windy so I pegged it down and it stayed put no problem. The tent did sway back and forth in the wind but nothing major and nothing you wouldn't expect. It never once felt like it wouldn't cope. To give youo an idea, you can see in one of my pictures that the back flap is open. It is the wind keeping that open and the rest of the tent is solid. On that note it's nice that you can fully open up the back flap of the tent to let air through the mesh. You can also use the door of the front panel flat on the ground as an extra floor covering as it has tent peg fixings in the corners.Folding these tents is an art which thankfull, through practice I appear to have mastered. Just keep practicing and you'll get it folded down in no time. There is loads of space in the tent for the kids and it's going to provide great shade on those sunny days, especially with the UV protection.Something which isn't mentioned in the description is that on each of the 4 corners there is a pocket on the outside of the tent, I can only think that these would be great for filling with sand at the beach to help weigh the tent down. A brilliant feature and one which should be added to the description as it will be invaluable in places where pegs just won't work.I'm very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone. On a side note, if your looking for a tarp, BFULL also do these and I bought one alongside my tent. If you want to read my review of that click on my profile and it will be on there around the same date as this one.*** If you've found this review helpful, please hit the "helpful" button as it makes writing them worth while ***

Big and Sturdy
Having recently broke my wonderful pop-up tent that lasted 3 years I decided to by another. However my model was no longer available so after a bit of searching I stuck on this one. There are several benefits to this one over my old one.---First impressions---1. Firstly, I like how I can zip up the front and back, I go to the beach all the time and being able to do that to get changed is great, my old one had an open front. Also, it has good head height for a beach tent, not that you can stand but you can comfortably crouch and get changed.2. Secondly, you can open the back to reveal a netting that allows a really nice breeze through.3. Finally, the poles seem to be made out of a metal, my last one had plastic and I snapped one putting it away a couple years ago and it never fully recovered after I used gaffer tape to fix it.---Putting away---Of course popping up is easy but I had no difficulty putting this away without instructions. However, I would put that down to my experience with a previous tent, and although different it only took a couple goes to figure out the twist. This model has a sort of spiral twist to it.If I was to be critical about this one I would say the floor looks a bit creased when you put it out, however it does come with pegs and I strongly suggest you use them because of the extra height of the tent.---Overall---* Good height* Zip up for privacy* Rear opens for privacy* Strong metal rods* Make sure you peg itI hope you found this review helpful :)Update . Still going strong. Check out the picture from the beach today. Love it and the head space is excellent.

Practise the take down!
Used this on beach in France this year. It seems sturdy and stayed in place well in a breeze with the tent pegs on sand - which I admit I did not think would hold it. It is big enough for two adults to sunbathe side by side and the silver lining works well keeping anything in the tent cool. Taking it down does need a bit of practise, you just have to be careful that you don't bend the metal inside when finding the right point to twist it round into a circle. It is not impossible, there is a knack and once you have done it a few times, it's easy. Good value, a big tent so ideal for a family. You need quite a bit of room so may not be practical on a crowded beach. There are pockets inside for stuff which can help to weigh it down. My only wish would be for sand pockets on the corners too so it could be weighed down with sand/pebbles as an alternative.

Disappointed
Although I bought this last year this is the first time I've used it. I really should've checked this earlier.I can put it up but I was u der the impression I was buying one with sand pockets on the outside to weigh it down as this is the one pictured and it also states this in the description. What I got was another version, there are no sand pockets on the outside just 2 large pockets on the Iiside which unless you go to a beach with lots of stones you are forced to put sand in it, which you then have to get out. I'm pretty sure I will be getting a different one.Only Good point is its nice & big.

cheap rubbish
The trouble sometimes with products such as this, is I'd rather pay extra for something built to last but everything is around this price range so you have to settle for something that you know is built to a low budget. I'd happy spend double for a decent pop up tent if the product was in any way durable, which this is not.The material is wafer thin- and to which are attached the loops in which you drive the tent pegs through. These, on our tent, completely came apart from the tent itself upon first use, without any real degree of tension created. Seller was also a pain- promising to send a replacement that never arrived and now this product is sold out. Probably for the best in any case that I'm now just returning for a refund.
