Get it
I would not be without this. Only a few days after my husband installed this in my driver's seat some idiot drove into the back of me. After a trip to A&E all confirmed OK with my baby and we bought another one for the passenger side for when my husband is driving. One of the first things the midwife asked was if the seat belt titghtened over my bump, luckily i could say that it did not because i had this adjuster fitted. I do not go in a car without this now, its easy and quick enough to install in another car if i go out with someone else.

Fits fine in BMW 1 Series Sport
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I’m 32 weeks pregnant, I wish I got it earlier!I was thinking about it for a while, but thought maybe I won’t need it because I didn’t have it in my first pregnancy, but I wasn’t driving much in my first one.Now with the pandemic and all I avoid public transport and my partner drives me everywhere so I’m much more in the car now than I was before.Installation was fairly easy.Bit fiddly under the car seat (not much space for manoeuvres). But I think is because of the car model we have (BMW 1 Series Sport).Comfort while driving:- I’m mainly wearing jeans or leggings which feels fine- if I had bare legs or tights I think it would bother me (rubbing on the inner thighs)Personally I think that if the device was closer to the crotch it would prevent from any possible rubbing.I’m plus size (size 16/18 pre pregnancy) woman and still feel that the device could be a little closer to my body for better comfort. But can’t move it as it’s shaped so it sits on the edge of the car seat. There ware plenty of other pregnancy seat belts available, some cheaper (not by much, few quid).I decided to take this one purely based on loads of positive reviews. It’s a great device, not pricy, and I think is worth just incase so my baby bump won’t get squished.I will use it right up to the birth and for a while after, as I’m planning to have a C section. So will have good few months of use from it.

Just what she needed
Who would of thought a little thing like this would help so much.Really simple to install and once installed easy to use and really helps stop the seatbelt from squeezing baby bump. Also protects you still also will be handy after missus has a baby will stop seatbelt from hitting scars very happy with this product.

I loved the idea of this
I loved the idea of this, but unfortunately I have had to return as the product was not compatible with my car, you need to be able to feed the strap through the back of the seat and mine does not have a gap to do this.

Unfortunately not suitable for BMW Series 2 Active Tourer
Firstly let me just say the product does look and feel very high quality. I'm sure that it works well and is safe based on all the other reviews.Just a shame it isn't compatible with my car. I've got a BMW 2 series Active Tourer and the front seats have extendable leg support which sit at the front of the seat. This mechanism unfortunately renders this device completely useless as you can't secure it.Hopefully they develop something that is universally compatible.

Works very well, but you need a cushion on top of it for comfort!
My wife is pregnant and this has really helped her feel much more comfortable about driving her car to work. The seat belt loops around 'hook' which is placed at the edge of the seat and secured there as tight as you can. The seat belt then secures the drivers thighs to the seat, negating the strap across the stomach.Very simple design and, like all the simple ideas, works really well. Why 3 stars for comfort. Well, due to the strap being very taut, it creates a hard strap across the seat which is quite uncomfortable to sit on. We remedied the situation by using a cushion over the top of it.I would recommend this for pregnant ladies, folk with a stouma bag or anyone who can't have pressure on their midriff.

Pleased with it!
I got this as I have a stoma and want to avoid a repeat of last time a car ploughed into the back of my car...Easy to install BUT I didn't tighten the strap enough so the gadge came loose. Enter my hubby aka 'muscle man' who tightened it into a death grip and it hasn't moved since!I'm now used to slipping my seat belt into it - second nature - and feel strange without it. I haven't, fortunately, had to test its effectiveness yet but at least I'm prepared. It keeps the seatbelt well away from my stoma which is what I wanted.I have a Mokka which has extending seats but as the strap goes around the whole seat, I'm unable to use the seat extension any more - its no biggie though.Very impressed with the gadge, it gives me peace of mind and seems durable enough - it lost a point purely because of it moving when I fitted it.It would be interesting to see the results of a crash test using this gadge?

Does what it needs to at a reasonable price
Appears to work as needed.Comfortable (though might take a little while to get used to as it changes the way the seatbelt fits - goes over the legs rather than around the waist). Also bought the type with the caribina clip for attaching the seat belt. This particular version is much easier to use.Thankfully not had the experience of having to break *hard* or impact... Cannot comment on how it would work in these situations, but it certainly appears to do it job nicely. No complaints :-)
