Absolutely brilliant. Great when we have friends over for a meal. I can have most of the food cooked when they arrive so I spend time with them rather than being in the kitchen. Downside don't leave it on maximum as it gets very hot and food can burn and dry out

I ordered one of these and a Kingavon one on Amazon. The Tower one was much better quality and got much hotter than the Kingavon one. I returned the Kingavon one and bought a second Tower one. The two of them were more than enough to keep Christmas lunch for 12 warm (excluding the turkey). I have since used one as a hot plate with serving dished for a dinner party. Having read other reviews, I have only handwashed them and the lids have been fine and have not cracked. The frame that supports the supplied dishes is a little sharp in few places, but I haven’t found this to be an issue.

I purchased 2 of these for Christmas Dinner. I have used a hostess trolley which was a wedding present over 44 years ago (which still works perfectly). However i found while this hostess trolley was amazing, once food is placed on the table it cools down. I wanted to keep the food hot on the table. It works very well. Only thing is when serving roast potatoes keep the lid off because they soon become steamed, same issue as the hostess trolley. You can only use the warmer for maximum of 4 hours, but I found that long enough to place on table and keep food hot throughout the meal. I chose this make because the plastic lids can be replaced if they get broken. Very pleased with warmers for the price. Makes it easy for the hostess.

Brilliant for pre-preparing food and keeping it hot for when my family arrive. Now I can spend time with my Grandchildren instead of standing in the kitchen cooking

Does the job in hand!

while it is very useful, the plastic lids are very poor and crack after using it 2-3 times. This is now my third replacement, but it keeps happening. Poor quality

Used over Christmas for the first time. Set temperature to just over half way to warm up but by the time I came to put the food in 2 of the lids had started to melt round the rims. Guess it was my fault, should have set it lower temperature to start with then turn it up with food in. Apart from that worked a treat kept the food warm.

I love this buffet server, using as just a hot plate, without the provided covered trays, you can either warm plates or use with foil dishes, which saves a lot of washing up, so great for Christmas family lunch
