It's Winsor and Newton quality.
I'm not too worried about which paper I use for my art, but I like the quality of this paper. I don't know if a professional artist would use this, but as an amateur artist I'm happy with it. Of course there are better quality papers, but who could tell, and why would they bother to look at the paper when the art is the subject.

Our 5 year old artist loves this paper
This is the proper stuff. Really thick paper, almost like card and yet really easy to paint on.Yes a bit expensive, especially for our 5 year old's easel ! But the poster paint dries really quickly, plus you can use both sides of this no problem with no paint coming through at all. Saves a lot of mess, and so a bit of stress! A quality product for sure.

Very good alternative to a canvas
Instead of buying an expensive canvas, the Winsor & Newton pads for acryllic paint are marvellous! I bought them to bring on an artistic journey, but have become so fond of them, that I am expecting to use them from now on. It is so much easier than bringing a huge canvas, and they are very easy to use with brushes and palette knives.

Paper feels glossier than previously
I have used this paper before but not for some time. The finish seems to be a bit glossier and I’m not a fan.It is for acrylics primarily but I found using it with pen and ink was not satisfactory - I tend to combine the two.A bit disappointing

Fab!
The paper quality is brilliant. I've used oil based paints and pastels on it and have had fabulous results. The paper is durable and allows the vibrant colours to stand out. You get a quality finish. Worth the money!

Windsor and Newton Galeria
I had used these pads a few years ago. Now I'm back to doing my favourite pastime. I have rejoined an art group. I need something that will substitute for a canvas. I do prefer oils but for quick transportation, acrylics are practical. So l can pack up my art work and keep it stored until needed. This make, is a good heavy canvas like paper. The sheets don't warp and are ready primed. The pad arrived quickly and is a good size. An A3. I wouldn't say that it's the cheapest on the market but art isn't a cheap hobby. That size is rather large if you prefer smaller l know that you can purchase various sizes. Check the measurements carefully.

Delivery
I have brought two of these books from you the first arrived prompt and perfect for what I needed to produce my original art for subsequent printing. The second arrived in torrential rain . Unfortunately the box was crushed and wet along the short side like it had been standing in water. Fortunately it hadn’t seeped into the goods too much just along the side which did dry out but wavy. This has made printing after creating works not viable as they do not lay flat in the scanner! Please inform your delivery people if this as to avoid future transport of your goods. A little unhappy about a reorder

Excellent quality
I have gone through around 6 of these myself and have bought 2 for friends over the years, this paper is fantastic for so many uses, it's also pretty thick and most mediums don't seem to leek through to the other side either. Excellent product.
