AvonSkin So Soft Original Dry Oil Body Spray with Jojoba 150 ml - Pack of 3

This is without a doubt my go to oil. Does exactly what it says on the tin! I Love it. Have been using this product for many years, this oil never ever gets old. Great after having a lovely hot bath and for use on holiday. Is a great insect repellent for mosquitoes. Not sticky at all, dissolves really well and gives off a beautiful perfume scent. This is truly a brilliant skin softener moisturiser and leaves your skin so soft.

Was using this stuff over the summer as it smelled lovely, stopped my skin getting dry and kept annoying little insects away. Then when I went on honeymoon to Thailand I had to use Deet (Jungle Formula Maximum) to ward off the mosquitos. It was evil stuff that gave me breathing problems, skin irritation and didn't completely stop the mozzies- I still got a few bites. After about 2 days I gave up and went back to using this stuff. Smelled gorgeous, lovely feeling skin, and guess what? Not a single mozzie bite for the rest of my 10 day trip! Clearly wasn't due to lack of mozzies either as my husband still got eaten alive using the Deet. Have been recommending this product to everyone ever since.

Used this product for quite some time and it's worth every penny. Not only does your skin feel great, it has the added unexpected bonus of keeping midges and other insects at bay. Great product.

I bought this as many insect repellents contain nasty chemicals that will melt plastic watch straps etc. I was told that this product, despite not originally being produced for keeping insects at bay, works well. Since I’ve been using it, I’ve not been stung at all and so I’m impressed! I’ve dropped a star as it’s a bit oily as a repellent but I suppose that’s what it was originally designed for.

I am someone who mosquito's tend to hunt down and feast on regardless of whether I'm on holiday or at home and after having a particularly nasty reaction to a bite inflicted upon me and ending up in A&E I have been on the look out for an effective repellent, I decided to try the Avon Skin So Soft option after a Scottish friend told me about how he uses it to avoid being bitten by the Scottish midges. I have to say both myself and my hubby were sceptical as to the effectiveness as the biting blighter's seem hell bent on getting me even when I have worn repellents with Deet in. Have to say it's brilliant, it smells nice, and with no nasty chemicals in it I felt at ease in applying it freely, after a day in the sun it also doubled as a skin moisturiser and I had nearly two weeks without being bitten....The last evening on holiday I missed a small area on my right foot and some opportunistic mossy got me there, but one bite out of two weeks and that was down to me not applying thoroughly isn't bad when I am usually seen as a mossy banquet. As there are no nasty chemicals in Skin So Soft it's safe to use on younger skin too, I will definitely be making more purchases of this for the holiday suitcases as well as keeping in the house for when the mossy season starts again.

As used by Scottish mountain rescue. The bugs don’t land but do hover so buy the face net as well. Seems to make your skin softer as well

I was very sceptical about this product as a friend had recommended this as an insect repellent so I just bought a small pack to try. OMG ! It's the BEST insect repellent I have ever bought ! I now won't buy any other product. It's got a delicate smell, not overpowering at all, and nowhere near as pungent as some other well known Insect sprays. My son has a summer job at a local water park and since using this on him, he hasn't been bitten once. You've got the added bonus that it moisturises your skin as well. Only point I would make, is either spray it on outside, or into your hand first, because if it settles on your hard floors, it makes them incredibly slippery.

It sits on the skin for ages so had to be rubbed in and a lot of it disappears onto the floor when you spray it, so that could be deadly if it's a slippy floor, luckily mine was carpet. My dog hated the scent (citronella) and wouldn't come near me
