If would have been better if they had instructions

The cooler worked write out of the box. My only complaint is a small one. It would help if the the product description mentioned what type of connection are required for the fans. I wanted to hook up the fans as part of a temperature controlled system for a wine cooler. I'm on my own to find out.

My problem with this product was that there wasn't a cord to one of the fans (as seen in picture) so that cuts the cooling by half rendering this product useless to me. Unfortunately I had already started trimming cords back to accommodate my project before noticing this catastrophic flaw, so I can't return it now..

no instruction provided, found instruction in questions and answers, after connecting all wires as per instructions, inserting plug in outlet, fans not working, no cooling effect whatsoever

Absolutely no instructions, no indication of even which is the hot and cold side. Fans all have 2 pin connectors attached with no mating connectors. Did not expect to actually have to cut and connect wires to make this work, but in all fairness all the parts actually needed appear to be present. Since its more of a time investment to test it than I anticipated I don't know if it actually functions yet. Someone with less of an electrical background would not likely be able to hook this up without help.

Pros-Assembled accurately, power and use.-Fans are quiet.-Insulation surrounding peltier cooler.-Power supply works ok.Cons-All fans, small and larger that are on the Pooler are weak. I've never seen fans so weak. I will be replacing these.-Because the fans are weak, the cooling isn't great.Summary-Nice intro unit, but fans are a must to change.

J'ai installé ce module dans un cellier de bonne grandeur, 20 bouteilles, pour remplacer un compresseur HS. Après 3 essais, le tout fonctionne A1. Ce qu'il faut retenir est qu'il faut VRAIMENT isoler avec styromousse le radiateur cote chaud et celui coté froid. Au début j,avais fixé le module sur un support en plastique et la chaleur se transmettait de part et d,autre dans le cellier. Maintenant , le module maintient parfaitement à 14C en se servant du thermostat électronique original . Certains acheteurs reprochent de ne pas avoir les plans électriques, mais les connections sont tellement simples que cela ne prend pas de déductions importantes. Noir négatif et rouge positif ! Connections en parallèle pour les ventilos. Pauvre performance du power suply...il a sauté ! LE POINT FAIBLE DU KIT = le power supply pas fiable ou pas assez puissant ?

Well-constructed thermoelectric cooling module. it's powerful enough to cool a small insulated volume.The cooling module is equivalent to those usually found in 12v car cooler units using Peltier cell technology.The power supply is alright as it powers the unit. Overall a fair offer as you get what you pay for.The product is poorly documented as it came with one black and white letter sized sheet with "some"relevant information but without a wiring diagram.

The module draws 7.5A which is 90W (not 220W).I made a quite small isolated compartment on the cold side. The volume is about 8" x 6" x 2". I used 3" thick styrofoam for highest R factor.At room temperature, about +20C, the minimum temperature in the cold compartment was -2C which mean a dt of 22C. I was expecting something around 30C (knowing that peltier cells are specified nominally to reach dt up to 40C).A bit disappointed with the module efficiency.
