Brilliant. Compact. Easy to set up and no faffing with ink. A brilliant little solution.
Bought as a present for my wife. Since our baby was born her phone has become filled with photos and I didn't want them to remain stuck there forever. This is a brilliant little solution. The printer itself is a bit bigger than a boxed deck of cards. Slightly shorter but wider than an iPhone and about twice as thick. It's charged via a usb and you fill it with packs of paper, 10 sheets at a time. These are not mega cheap but the best I found was 7 packs of 10 for £9.When charged you just turn the printer on (there is only 1 button on the printer) and use the Polaroid ZIP app to make and send your photo. The app allows you to select single pics or make a collage style photo. The app also allows for some editing like crop, rotate, brightness and contrast, colour balance as well as Instagram-style filters (retro, black and white, cool, sepia, etc). The pics take about 20 seconds to print and work via some special chemicals and heat to define the colours rather than ink or toner. We've been able to pair 2 iPhones to it via bluetooth and I've just had to select it again from my devices as it was showing but not connected. All in all this will be perfect for adding small pics to thank you cards, sticking into her baby book (they are self adhesive peel and stick) and just having as printed photos. The photos are pretty small 2x3 inches (5x7.7cm) but do the job for what we want. Think there's a larger 3x5 version on the way but that's only from looking at the paper stock. There's also a ZINK printer that uses a roll of this type of paper but that's around £200.

Great little travel printer
Great little printer. I bought it primarily for traveling. I like to keep a travel journal and the size of the prints are perfect for this. It is really lightweight, but well constructed. It was really easy to set up and load with the printer paper. It takes 10 sheets at a time. The app on my phone (iOS) version pairs with the printer quickly and easily. The app allows you to make some edits to the photo and add text if you want to before printing. The photo prints in a few seconds and is completely dry as soon as it comes out of the printer. Print quality is good - if you really look you can see fine lines on the print - but you have to look for them. The peel off backing on the printer paper means you can easily attach your photo to a journal or album. Overall I am very pleased with the printer, and is perfect for what I bought it for.

Polaroid Zip Instant Printer
Firstly, this review is of my opinion. I am a fashion and advertising photographer so I therefore look for clarity and good colour reproductions in images.Overview:For what this little printer is, it isn't too bad! For my intended use, it may perhaps suffice but it could certainly be better.Positives:- Small physical size (very)- Great Portability- Rechargable unremovable battery (unlike closest competitor). Could also be a negative for some- Small images (wallet size - can be seen as good and bad)- Quick to print (despite other reviews the speed isn't bad)- Good accompanying app (could be improved - see negatives)Negatives:- The image size would be nicer if it was a bit bigger (for me personally).- The clarity/sharpness of the prints isn't great, though for what the Polaroid Zip is, perhaps I'm asking too much of it (it's more of a fun, consumer product than a pro printer after-all).- The colour reproduction is off, producing a magenta tinge to images (even black and whites come out with a red/magenta tinge, and even also a little blue).- The App: When resizing images in the 'edit image' portion, unfortunately there is no way of centering the image (either on the horizontal or vertical axis (a method similar to that of Microsoft words image positioning would be ideal)- The battery isn't removable, so if you're in the wild with no mains you cannot remove it and put in another precharged battery like you can with the Zips closest competitor. What you can however do is print and charge at the same time, so try a battery pack for charging phones/laptops etc (i.e search Anker on Amazon). The Polaroid Zip instant printer isn't a bad product. The ease of use and portability makes it a superb product, it is however let down by its image quality (though only slightly). My review is therefore a 4* and not 5*.

A great little printer, highly recommended!
A great little printer, fun to use it. Perfect for my teenage daughter as she could just customise her pictures that was shoot on her phone and could share them or add them to her photo scrapbook. Works seamlessly with any device, it was easy to pair. If you look around you also will be able to find some good deal on the photo paper. Originally purchased the camera version of this polaroid, but returned it as picture quality was not great with it. This printer the same size as the camera, but at least you are able to edit your pics on your phone and print it the way you like it. Oh, and I recommend to buy a small hard case as well here on amazon, so the cable for charging, the spare papers, the printed photos could be safely stored in one place. Highly recommended little printer, fun to use it on vacations or on birthday parties. My daughter is very happy with it.

Macht was er soll

Perfect for Journaling
I must have read a few hundred reviews and a dozen articles on these portable printers before deciding on this one and I am very pleased with my decision.I've included a photo for reference; in it the top is a picture of the printed photo, bottom is the original from my phone. As you can tell it does come out a little less bright and not as clear as the original however for a 2x3 photo you can't really be too picky.Likes:- Charges very quickly via included cable- No ink to worry about- Stick back photo paper is fun for adding to journals, letters or anything else- Prints quickly and quietly- Good quality for the size- Economically priced paper refillsI have no dislikes however I did want to mention I had a slight issue when trying to print for the first time. I was excited and tried to do it while it was charging as I read you could. Not even sure that caused the problem or not but after the initial pairing I couldn't get the phone and the printer to connect to print until I took it off the charger. Since then however no issues. Could have just been a fluke. I'm still so happy with this printer though.
