Quad Lock Adhesive Dash/Console Car Phone Holder for iPhone,Galaxy, Pixel and Universal Adaptor

Previous to this purchase, I tried another car phone holder that supposedly worked by using the MagSafe system on my iPhone 16 Pro Max. After normal driving on the highway, the phone would slip down and never stay put. So I ordered this Quad Lock system along with a Quad Lock iPhone case. This system works great. It does use magnets but also employs a mechanical lock system. The two work great together. Yes, I need to be a little more careful when placing or removing the phone from the holder, but it's worth it. My ultimate goal is to use my iPhone for navigation when going off-road in my GX470. Off-roading will, of course, experience much more bumpy driving and I definitely need a more secure phone holder system. The Quad Lock iPhone case works well too. But be careful...those magnets on the back of the case can catch you off guard if you put the phone down on a metal trash can or other metal object. Try to quickly lift it off that metal trash can and you might lose your grip with the phone taking a tumble.

This thing is absolutely fantastic because it is so simplistic and works perfectly! I bought a very nice (and cheap) phone holder which attaches to the vents, and as nice as it was, brushing against it the very first time broke one of my vent blades. So since I'm already using a Quad Lock case, I opted for this direct from the company (via Amazon, of course). I wish I would have just done this from the very beginning. With the 3M tape on the back and the curved base, it fits perfectly on my dash. In my humble opinion, it is WELL worth the extra money. It comes with an extra 3M double sided tape in case you want to relocate it, and an alcohol wipe to clean the area before mounting (you must do this first in order to get it to stick securely). The adjustment on it is a little bit more difficult than some, but because of this very reason it will absolutely not budge once you have it tightened on the back (the pivot ball is rubber instead of plastic, so it very firmly grips the holder). Also, despite what the pictures may imply, you are able to pivot the holder in any direction. I was a tiny bit concerned at first that it would only go 90 degrees to one side, but it is fully pivot-able in any direction. HIGHLY recommended if you have a Quad Lock case for your phone, or plan on getting one!!

I have used quad lock mounts for a couple of years now on my motorcycle and this one seems just as good with the exception of the adhesive (double sided) tape, i ended up getting some better tape and it the mount works good now.

It wouldn’t stick on to my dashboard anywhere and the quality isn’t great for how expensive it is. Update: I got some stronger 3m adhesive and now it sticks just fine. It’s still overpriced but it seems secure.

I bought this after using the motorcycle mount for a while, I wanted to keep the same case so I just bought the quad-lock mount for my car too. In typical Quad-Lock fashion, what you get just never quite seems to add up to what you pay. This thing is cheap, flimsy, stiff (as in difficult to rotate, even when the clamp is all the way loose, or fully removed actually) and weirdly short. Like they could have at least made the post an inch longer so you can actually clear the dashboard. Installation was actually super annoying, as the first round of tape didn’t quite stick. The flexible base doesn’t actually like to flex very much, the adhesive tape simply isn’t strong enough. The man thing I noticed between this and the motorcycle mount is the lack of a thumb tab, and how much thinner and more brittle the plastic feels. This thing shouldn’t be priced above $15, but it will function once you find a good spot for the mount. If I could go back in time, I would have chosen a different brand for both my car and my bike. On the plus side though, I really like their cases. The magnets are stronger than most cases. Part of why I just decided to keep this cheaply made car mount instead of returning it immediately after laying eyes on it.

This thing was great till I totally my car. It didnt even fall or drop my phone during the accident and was still held on when I was gathering my thing. Legend had it the crusher broke trying to crush my car because of how strong this sucker is. All jokes aside its a verry great product and I miss it every day since I lost my car. If you want to know where your phone it during driving or after an accident I highly recommend this product.

I love quad locks, I have them on three bicycles and two motorcycles and they lock firmly and securely. I bought the quad lock dash console holder and it is completely useless. The phone, which is in an official quad lock case, doesn't fit securely on and is very loose and rolls back and forth while driving and the phone easily falls off. I think it is a defective mount. It also doesn't have the blue handle or anything else that clicks the phone case into place that my bike and motorcycle mounts have, but there is no excuse for shipping an expensive product ($37 with shipping for a little bit of molded plastic that likely costs them pennies per copy to make) that fails out of the box. I have reported this to customer service and will update this post if they come through, but again, zero excuses for poor quality control of such an expensive product.

I have been using quad block products for over 10 years they've been in every one of my cars and on every one of my bikes. They stay locked and I never have to worry about losing my phone.

All quad lock products are made strong and durable it’s pricey but they are worth it

Die Halterung in meinem ersten PKW hielt super auf dem Armaturenbrett. Da wackelte nix. Da ich den PKW nun inkl. der Halterung verkauft habe, habe ich mir eine Neue bestellt. Die allerdings hielt trotz entfetten überhaupt nicht, das Klebeband war totaler Murks. Zum Glück hatte ich noch gepolstertes Klebeband von 3M da, habe es ausgetauscht und nun hält es wunderbar. Finde es etwas teuer aber das ist halt Quadlock… Spaß kostet!😉👍

バイクと車の両用ではこれ一択ではないか。いろんなホルダーがあるが結局は中華製の安物。これは造りもしっかりしているし、なんせ長く使える。旧車などマウントが難しい車体でもこれであれば解決です。夏の暑さでも外れる心配なし。

Demasiado caro para la calidad. He usado su soporte de motocicleta y la calidad es mucho mejor.

Absolutely useless, doesn't stick to any surface in my car bar the window and even then it doesn't hold. Awkward to adjust and comes apart way too easily
