Status Desk Fan, 9 Inch Oscillating Portable Fan, 2 Speed Adjustable, White, (S9DESKFAN1PKB)

Been using this for almost a year now and this is a perfect fan! Very powerful, each setting fits my needs very well, not too loud, very easy to get used to, and it fits onto my desk as I was hoping! If you want a fan at a good price, this is a nice pick!

The fan is made of metal and feels strong aswell as durable. Makes it easy for me to not worry about it falling over accidentally or worry about breaking it. It’s really fast and has a lot of power behind the air, like I can be on one side of the room and it can be on the other side of the room! I personally like that a lot because when I do some martial arts the fan makes sure I’m not basically burning up haha 🤣. It also circulates the air in the room if you aim it at a wall for example 👍🏼. The noise is definelty there but I don’t find it unbearable whatsoever, on low you won’t notice it much, on max it can feel loud but you get ALOTT of air and cooling ❤️😄. It looks nice! It’s Shiny and has a grey tint to it, I personally love it. We have ordered 2 so far getting a third soon!

Perfect fan with 3 speed settings & the off button. The noise level isn't off putting either. The negatives are.. 1) you might need an extension lead based on where your plugs are & how close you need to be to the fan itself. 2) You have to put it together yourself which is fairly straight forward, however, why on earth does there have to be one little screw that you'll need a Phillips screwdriver for that really has no purpose other than add a bit of 'grrrr ' 😄 other than those 2 negatives the fan is value for money in my opinion & certainly does cool down the air around you which in turn cools your body down so quite powerful. If you do buy this fan i do recommend buying a reasonable priced extension lead which is what I'm going to do now .

This is an excellent fan especially for its small size. My son likes to sleep with a fan on all night, this gives a good low noise and no rattle and is actualy very powerful air flow even on speed 1. due to its smaller 9" size its really good for keeping on his checst of drawes and doesnt take up too much space. I would highly recommend

Bought this as we trusted the Status brand as we have a bigger Status fan which is good. This is not good. The vibration caused the flimsy plastic to rattle: try sleeping with that noise. There's also a tiny fiddly screw and nut to use during assembly. The plastic is very thin and doesn't inspire confidence. We didn't expect much for the money we paid, but this came way below our worst expectations.

I think that for the money it is OK, it is - after all - pretty cheap. As you'd expect it is fairly flimsy and lightweight, it doesn't seem to clip into the base super securely as a result. I have two key issues with it: 1. It is actually 11 inches in diameter, so a lot bigger than I was expecting... I guess the 9" is probably the blade diameter. 2. Its balance isn't perfect so it can get into a state where it vibrates quite badly, though it doesn't do this all the time. It makes it more dicey to use on the faster setting, but doesn't have as much of a problem with the lower setting. But... it is *OK*, and I only bought it to blow air across my seedlings and it is fine for that job.
