Makes good sized ice.
Just what I was looking for. These trays make really big ice cubes, and good sized ice balls. The ice balls are a little bit tricky to make, you have to fill the bottom tray, then put the top part on, then freeze it with something sat on top of the tray, that way you get more spherical balls, as the trays don't fit together completely flush.

Easy to use and clean
I only really wanted the square cubes but bought this pack as it was reasonably priced. Now the kids loved making the round cubes and I use the square ones for freezing homemade sauces in portions. Everyone's happy.Easy to use, and the cubes come out easily without having to run hot water over the bottom of them. The clean well and the spicy sauces I store in them do not penetrate and leave taste behind for the next batch.

Works brilliantly!
I have used this only once but it worked very well. The spheres were very easy to fill - unlike some others, you assemble the tray and then fill the spheres from the hole on the top, which is very easy to do. The water did not leak, and as you see from the photos, the ice balls were perfect. You can take out one or more balls at a time and put the rest back in the freezer, which is also good.

Toxic
I have wanted these for a while. We have washed the square one over and over but the taste is so toxic it became obvious that if you can taste such a chemical taste then that’s not safe.I would seriously recommend tighter safety checks and also finding out what chemicals are used to make these. I’m guessing there will be a proprietary issue with that but if so then that’s all you need to know. Cannot say this more. The taste of anything with an ice cube out of these was like the taste of the smell of old toxic glue. Other trays do not have this problem. Hope they resolve it.

Good item but tricky to initially get ready for use.
I bought these on a lighting deal for my summer G&T's, but when the product arrive it had a very strong petrochemical smell, running them through the dishwasher didn't kill the smell so I hit google. Turns out its a known issue with the material they are made of but the solution is pretty easy, you just put them on a baking tray in the oven at about 170 celsius for about an hour to ninety minutes, just make sure the kitchen is well ventilated, I had to open the windows, turn the extractor fan up full and text the neighbours so they didnt think something was burning. After that, they are fine, I used them last night and though I found the balls a little bit fiddly to fill as the supplied funnel is useless once I switched to a larger funnel it was fine, though if I ever want absolutely perfect presentation I would hit the calculator and work out the volume and then use a dosing syringe to fill them but given a 1000+ reviews on this item its probably the case that someone has already done that. Also I am not quite sure why the instructions say to 80% fill them when the expansion rate of water when frozen is 9% but with the hot weather I have time to experiment to get them right.

These are awesome!
These are really nice and easy to use, don't know what people are on about. You simply fill them with water, pop them in the freezer and you have nice, big ice cubes that last your entire meal.As a note for making the spheres, just make sure you have a good seal between both moulds, and you're golden.Once the ice is ready, wiggle it a bit and be careful not to pull to hard so the plastic doesn't tear. I've used some warm water on the base to heat it up a little bit (the ice will be fine!), and they fall down easily.

Fantastic huge ice cubes
These are great for gin etc. The ice melts much slower because the cubes are so much bigger. You only need one cube per drink too. I particularly like the large cubes but the spheres are fairly easy to fill too, simply fill slowly through the hole in the top

Nice balls!
These are really good value for money. Just remember to lay flat in your freezer and ensure the top is pushed in well otherwise water will seep out. I’m being picky here on the whole I’m really pleased with this product.
