Still good after a year — so pleased that I bought an extra set
Love these!Small one is useful for a bra (to stop the hooks damaging other things in the wash), and the big one has plenty of room to contain a jumper or similar item that would otherwise perhaps suffer from "bobbling" in the wash. Also useful for holding pairs of tights to make sure that they don't wrap themselves round the rest of the laundry and emerge as a big clump of knitted spaghetti! The mesh is quite course (means they don't take up much room and dry quickly), unlike some I had a few years ago with zips which were quite fine material (didn't last, zips broke, and weren't very big). The large mesh also means that the water/detergent can easily get into the clothes and then get rinsed out easily (I would not advise cramming laundry in them — it does need to have some spare room to move around to wash properly). No damage or bobbling since I've been using these, and no problems with splits or coming undone during the wash cycle (and 1600 r.p.m. spin).I've been using them for over a year now, and have been so pleased with them that I bought a second set after a few months so that I can wash more than one larger item at the same time without the "bobbling" on the material. All 4 bags are still going strong!

Handy to have to protect your wash loads.
It's the second lot of these wash-bags that I have purchased and I am happy with both purchases.I use them for putting dedicates in; items that might get damaged due to lace or fine fabrics. For anything of a very fragile nature, you would be better with a slightly softer and more protective type of bag.Other times I might put things in, that might cause a problem for other items in the wash... such as things with a zips, metal bits etc.The biggest of the 2 bags is a great size; and can easily take a regular wash load of small delicates, or maybe 2-4 bulkier items like dresses, tops (depends on the sizes of the items). The smaller of the bags is a bit small for my liking (which is why i have deducted a star), it can hold a single bra or small top, Ideally i would like this one to be a little bigger. Overall a good purchase.... I bought a second lot so they must be ok :o)

Wash Bag H & L Russel Ltd Two Wash Bags
Have used this before and this make but the ones before had zips on which at times did get a bit stuck. So seeing these with toggles thought they would be better and they are, so much so that this is now the second set I have bought, they withstand lots of washing but not puppy teeth as I have found out.Put things like puppy collar in small one along with his harness for cleaning up and it just means that the bits all stay together in the bag instead of getting stuck inside machine drum. The bigger one the males underwear all gets put into and easier then for putting onto line for drying too as all together then. Same with socks then at least no socks getting stuck inside door seal or lost.Just useful item to have for not a lot of money, saves the sock monster from appearing, well it has at our house.

Handy
I bought the Friendly Swede black mesh bags for a holiday. Big for big toys and stuff in the hold bag and the small for change and keys and stuff in my travel bag (although if anyone want to do the same with these they are a size up from the FS bags).I found the idea so useful I have co-opted it to use them more often.I now have a "gym mesh bag" which has some grip toys, liquid chalk, hair gel, deodrant and padlock. So if I'm going to the gym I don't need to spend ages searching for my kit. It's all together already.I find this especially great as I have a few bags and it's nice to be able to wake up and pack a bag quickly.

Ok but not great quality
Bought these for washing delicates in the machine and on the first wash they all opened and their contents mixed in with the rest of the wash. The bobble to close them isn’t strong enough to withstand a wash so I now tie a knot behind it when closed and this stops it opening. The seams aren’t particularly strong and are fraying so I suspect it won’t be long before they begin to rip. But they’re still usable so I’m happy enough that they do a job for me, but probably wouldn’t buy again.

Does the job, though slightly smaller than described
Our new washing machine must have a subtly different shaped drum/door to our old one, because socks were forever getting stuck by the seal early in the cycle so not getting a proper wash, rinse and spin. These bags solve the problem in an instant, and seem adequately good quality for the low price. Just to reassure, the product we received from Giftsfame is exactly as pictured, and includes the drawstring closure rather than the inferior zip some purchasers have reported getting from certain sellers. They're a tiny bit smaller than described, by a couple of centimetres on the widths (37cm and 20cm respectively), but given their flexibility really not likely to be a problem for most.

Lasts a long time.
The quality of the bags is good and the seal keeps the bag closed during the wash. It is useful having a larger and smaller bag. They last a long time. I've been using them for months now and no drop in quality of the bag. You can get several pairs of socks etc. in the large bag and probably one small item in the small bag. They come out clean and they haven't picked up any stains. They haven't developed any holes or tears and the cords are still attached well. They close with a white toggle that slides to let the bag open fully, but stays closed in the wash without going loose.

OK
The white netting material is quite stiff even after several uses in washing machine, not ideal for stockings. I prefer another bag I have that is much softer and sleek. One of the cords unravelled during washing and got caught in the centrifuge cycle. Luckily I heard that the sound of the washing machine was different and stopped it before any damage happened. I would advise to check cord ends and knot them before using for the first time. Should be fine then.
