I eat this as past of my regular diet. I keep them handy and have about 2-3 small handfuls a day supplemented with raisins, a nice combination flavour wise. As it happens dates are also a rich source of magnesium, but you probably know all this. As a 72 year old, I add a few supplements like theses seeds to my diet as they are not processed in any way that I know of and our bodies can take care of them. They have a long shelf life too, but I tend to eat about a kilo or so each month.
