Bought this to replace one that came with my John Lewis American-style fridge, which neither my plumber, nor I afterwards, could get to stop dripping from the push-fit end. It screws on fine to a standard water supply connection (like the ones for washing machines and dishwashers). Disappointingly, the first time I tried it, it also dripped. So I removed the tube, took another sliver off the end of the tube, ensuring it was squared off, inserted again and this time no drip. The tube and inner basket do hang out at a rather alarming angle when 'pushed in', but it has now been watertight for two months without a problem (and I can probably remove the bowl I left underneath it now!). Personally I'd be much happier with a screw-fit fitting on my fridge - these push-fit connectors seem much more troublesome to me. But this item was an inexpensive and suitable replacement part.

Brought this to attach to my RODI unit. The connector which came with the unit always leaked and I had to tighten it with water pump pliers. Plastic fitting over tightening... yeah it broke. Anyway onto this one finger tight no leaks, much more solid also. Yeah what can I say its a connector, it connects... doesn't leak. So yeah 10/10.

Bought to replace water connector pipe for fridge to copper pipe. Fridge connector had failed. This was really easy to fit without having to replace the whole pipeline. Just chopped off the old fridge connector, pushfit this product onto the pipe and attached blue clip. ( no instructions but just figured it out). This connector then easily screwed onto the copper water pipe.

Delivered on time and good value

Fitting in the photo is similar in appearance to a John Guest, but the fitting that arrived does not match the photo. It looks like the unbranded ones you can get on eBay for pennies.

Excellent quality item and does the job perfect, no leaks and has a secure clip so pipe can't come out as you can see in the photo. Very pricey for what it is though but needed it straight away and Amazon always delivers.

Der mit unserem Side-by-Side Kühlschrank mitgelieferte Anschluss ist leider undicht geworden, so dass es Ersatz nötig wurde. Diesen habe ich hier gefunden. Zähes und sehr exakt geformtes Material, problemlose Montage ohne Hilfsmittel - handfestes Anziehen reicht völlig, die eingelegte Gummidichtung sorgt für absolute Dichtigkeit des Anschlusstückes. Fester Sitz dess Wasserschlauches, der beiliegende kleine blaue Sicherungsring sorgt dafür, dass sich die Schlauchkupplung nicht versehentlich löst. Gut verarbeitet, schnell geliefert, zuverlässige Funktion - sehr gut.

En plus d'être parfaitement étanche et facile à installer, cela permet que le tuyau plastique ne vrille pas quand on effectue le branchement, tuyau qui est serti sur le système d'origine, le mien avait justement vrillé et percé du coup, d'où l'achat de cette pièce !
