Jim Dunlop 6551J Fretboard 65 Ultimate Lemon Oil, 1oz - Jar/24

I bought a new guitar neck a few months ago (pau ferro fretboard) and was starting to look a bit greasy in some areas more than others. I sprayed on the lemon oil quite thickly, left it for about an hour then wiped off the excess. it has applied a lustre which wasn't there before, makes it look cleaner. It also darkens the wood but I wanted that anyway. The 1 fl.oz. bottle would allow for about 7 applications if you spray it on thickly.Delighted at how my fretboard looks now. Should also help the wood to age more evenly.Looking forward to the next application now! Essential product!

To my shame, I've never once cleaned my rosewood fretboards with lemon oil. In nearly 40 years of playing bass and guitar it's not been on the radar. Until now and what a difference! Well worth it, fretboard looks revitalised and smells lovely and fresh.

Did a lovely job on my Martin. Removed the grime and improved playability. Smell pretty good too. I love opening the hard case at the moment.I did have to score it 1 star for taste, I did think it was a strange thing to have to score guitar cleaner on but hey why not I’ll give it a go. It’s not quite a lemon drizzle that’s for sure. It lacked that really sour tang I look for in a lemon productSeriously though great product a great for your guitar

I brought a very old neck completely back to life with this. The neck was dry as a bone and about to start cracking. A few applications of this and it completely conditioned the neck and brought it back to life with a brilliant lustre. Much more healthy now and as a result, will prevent damage from string bends on the fret board.

this tool is so important for serious guitarist who take care of their playing and actually I would say this even improve tone to your guitar. As an excellent product.

Does exactly what it's supposed to. Conditions and protects your fretboard. Smells nice without being overpowering and brings out the beauty in the wood.Just to answer some of the negative reviews: Lemon Oil is a fretboard conditioner, not a cleaner. Ideally, you should clean your fretboard first (I just use a slightly damp cloth), then apply the oil.Secondly, if you use this product and find it leaves behind an unpleasant residue...you're using way too much. One or two spritzes on a clean cloth is enough for the entire fretboard.

I actually didn't buy this for its intended use. I bought it to remove that sticky gunge you get on modern car dash buttons. I saw some recommendations on YouTube so I thought I would try it. It wasn't completely successful but there was some improvement.
