Turmeric is absorbed with fat- it is a fat soluble spice... It is my understanding that Novosol is medium chain triglycerides to help with absorption. I bought these originally from another company in Guernsey, but they were much more expensive and took ages to arrive.I found these from Vivanta Nutrition on Amazon the only difference is they have vitamin D added instead of vitamin C, which I prefer in any case. They were with me very quickly and the seller sent a thank you for the order, which was welcome and unexpected.I am using this to help with inflamed shoulder bursa and tendons after using for a couple of months, the pain has reduced to almost nothing.This product works much better for me than ibuprofen, and has the added bonus that it is safer for the body to utilise and not harmful to the gut. Good product.

I'm writing this review two week after the purchase of these capsules.I had read up on Tumeric and its claimed health properties as well as NovaSOL Bioavailable claims concerning bioavailability of the Curcumin.However, the proof is in the use, so I tried these capsules to see if they would help with severe lower back pain which has been an issue since an injury in 2014.Every morning for about a month I had been waking with really severe lower back pain. I had to be very careful about lifting anything moderately heavy as it brought on spasms of pain. Changing mattresses or exercise didn't seem to ease it, so I tried these capsules more in hope than expectation.I'm pleased to say I noticed a difference within 5 days of taking these capsules and after 2 weeks I'm pain free.I wake up and get out of bed where before I would have remained sitting on the edge of the bed building up the courage to stand up and move off, because of the pain.Yesterday I drove for about 220 miles and frankly dreaded getting out of the car as usually after a long period driving my back seizes up. I got out of the car as pain free as I got in.Nothing else in my diet or regimen has changed and I don't take painkillers other than as a last resort. I can only surmise that the capsules are doing me good.I can also only guess as to other beneficial properties usually associated with Curcumin, but on the pain and inflammation side of things it seem they are working for me.

Whilst always difficult to evaluate a supplement, especially after only a limited duration of use, this product does appear superior to other curcumin offerings and is backed up with good science - which is why I purchased in the first place. I purchased to reduce the inflammation in torn muscles after exercise injury (torn calf) and combine with serrapeptase. In this respect I believe it is helping to speed recovery.

This is my fave way to take Turmeric daily for my Fibro. Doesn't irritate my stomach as much as powder capsules and gets absorbed better. I always take any turmeric capsules with food (food first) so doesn't irritate the stomach to be safe but these little gems really make my life easier and I can't fault the pain reduction. Coupled with CBD and Cherry Go Max my daily chronic pain is drastically reduced to bearable now. You can feel the pain increasing within a few days when you stop taking it. Also good for immune, cancer, all sorts. Research the science it's a little miracle root! Since I went on an all natural medication regime I no longer need any pharma pills which were highly addictive and gave me terrible, terrible side effects because having to take them long term.

I am always slightly sceptical about supplements but willing to give them a go. Following 30 days in November by the end of the month I wasn't consciously stiff and creaky in the mornings but having run out, didn't bother in December. By the end of the month I was creaking and groaning like a good'n. Ordered (indeed subscribed) in January and within 2 weeks am back to no aches and pains.Following a career in the military my body is pretty beat up and I have had several joint operations over the years so arthritis is certainly a given, but I can say that I certainly feel better with this supplement.

Everyone else's tablets or capsules are stated as, for example "475mg of Curcumin per capsule". However, Vivanta have blurred the picture by quoting a daily dose of 2 capsules, containing 1000mg of liquid Curcumin. So each capsule is only 500mg, and I weighed 5 just now which were 3grams in total = 600mg each, including the capsule, which I would have thought was heavier than 100mg. What I don't know, and would like advice about, is how much free Curcumin one capsule will deliver into my bloodstream and how fast will the body eliminate it again.I am trying to subdue the increase in the Kappa Light Chain proteins that my bones marrow is producing (Myeloma) and believe that I may need a much higher daily dose than 2 capsules can give me.

I have been taking powder based turmeric capsules for more than 5 months now. Had maybe a little difference in the effect on my Achilles tendonapathy. Every morning I used to struggle to get out of bed without a 10 minute stretching regime to loosen the tendon. I can honestly and sincerely say I have been using these capsules for just over two weeks now and can now get out of bed straight away. The tightness and slight discomfort is still there, but getting better each day. I can walk better throughout the day. Even my wife can see a difference in my activity. I hope to slowly get back to my running, however even if I have to change activities to cycling its been worth the money to see this change. I have just reordered again and will try this for a full couple of months and then review again.

Been using these for years. Seem to do the job effectively and health benefits are evident.
