illy Monoarabica Ethiopian Coffee Beans 250 g (Pack of 2)

Good deal at the mo' on this and the Brazilian jobbie.Because of the lighter colour of the tin and beans, I was expecting this coffee to be milder than the Brazilian.However, after much tasting, I actually find this a tad more sour/acidic - or 'fruity' as I think this taste is sometimes described.The beans grind well and give a good crema. Coffee comes out full-flavour imo.The tins are quite thin but deffo reusable and have a quality airtight seal.

Earlier this year I bought a De'Longhi Magnifica ESAM4200 Bean to Cup Espresso/Cappuccino Coffee Machine.I had not shopped for coffee beans before so I needed to experiment a little. This review is based on a comparison between the Illy Medium and Dark Roasts, their Monoarabica Ethiopian, Colombian, Brazilian and Guatemalan and a variety of Whittards beans.This was my favourite blend of all. The flavour is smooth and light with a slightly more citrus flavour than most. It doesn't have as much of a caffeine kick as some of the Indian and Brazilian roasts but I was shopping more for the flavour.I've been drinking this every day now for the last three months and have taken out an Amazon subscription accordingly, it is really very good.

I bought this product about 4 years ago for about £6.70 and it is now £20.00. Who is kidding who? This is a downright ripoff in my opinion.

I picked up two cans on Amazon in August 2015 for 7.36 delivered. I though there must be something wrong with it - but it turned out to be absolutely delicious. I keep popping back to buy more - but the price has never been less than 12.00 per pair since then. I would say it is worth it even at that price - but having tasted the bargain, I am hanging on. Great beans though - totally live up to the description with really great floral notes.

Amazing, almost as good as the Ethiopian ground coffee I bought in Ethiopia. Highly recommend. I use the coffee in both an expresso machine (the crema is amazing) and moka pot, and both produce smooth coffee. Highly recommend

its a really great super smooth taste, best from lily, less milk more strength, not as strong as illy standard beans but just an amazing cup of coffee all i need and all i want , try it you will not be disappointed, you must have a bean to cup machine so adjust to your taste,iv never said this about any other beans , you will be in coffee heaven

nice coffee, we are experimenting at the moment trying out different coffee's for our new machine and this one is fairly ok, very handy tin with a screw lid.

Coffee has a unique flavor. I did not care for it, but others love it. No issue with the product.
