A Decent Upper Arm Blood Pressure Cuff That Seems To Be Fairly Accurate
A decent upper arm Blood Pressure cuff that seems to be fairly accurate.Setting up the WBP202 was really easy. The cuff can be used with or without the BP Tracker App. My wife has an iPhone SE and I had no problem installing, registering, and using the App. Unfortunately, the App requires an account to use and has no standalone option. After setting up your account you have to verify your email before you can actually sign in and use the App. The App has a simple and nice interface. It can track BP readings for two users and is completely customizable for each user. In order for the reading to register from the cuff to the BP Tracker App you have to start the measurement from within the App. The BP Tracker App finds the cuff with no intervention required other than making sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the cuff is on. The iOS version of BP Tracker requires iOS 8 or later. The user manual has a link to the Android App but the site is to the manufacturer's Chinese website that even when translated it hard to navigate. Wear Care has a U.S. website but I couldn't find the Android App on their website. BP Tracker is available from Google Play. It says it requires Android 4.3 or above and only works with phones. I couldn't get it to install on my Android 4.4.1 tablet. The WBP202 itself is well made for the most part but has some minor drawbacks. The Start/Stop button is on the side of the cuff which makes it a little difficult to position on your arm without accidentally pressing it and starting a measurement. It takes some getting used to but you need to grab the monitor from the top when positioning the cuff despite a natural inclination to grab it from the side. There is no way to turn the cuff on without invoking cuff inflation and a reading. You have to turn it on and then press Stop really quick to stop it. If you don't stop it quick enough it registers a triple 0 reading (SYS, DIA, PR). The cuff will record readings for two users and retains historical data. When looking at historical data it scrolls between User 1 and User 2 so you can't just look at historical data for a specific user. I guess this is where the App comes. The manual does not tell you how to delete the historical data directly on the cuff and I haven't been able to figure it out.The WBP202 comes boxed with a user manual and USB charging cable (no power brick). The seller says it comes with a carrying case but none was included with my WBP202. The cuff itself is medium size and should fit most arms without any issues. The WBP202 uses triple measure averaging. I looked at several BP cuffs and with most there were reviews of accuracy and inaccuracy. I believe the WBP202 cuff is fairly accurate, although it may read slightly high on the diastolic side. I own an Omron 7 BP652 wrist cuff but the readings I was getting on the BP652 seemed like they were consistently lower than what my doctor was reading. I compared my most recent reading on my Omron 7 BP652 wrist cuff on 10/4/17 to my most recent doctor's reading on 10/4/17 and my doctor's reading was 31 higher than the systolic reading and 1 higher than the diastolic reading of the BP652. When I tested the WBP202 against the BP652 today (10/18/17), the WBP202 had a 29 higher systolic reading and a 9 higher diastolic reading compared to the BP652. Other Amazon reviews confirm the WBP202 is accurate. The WBP202 rechargeable battery charges quickly and provides long battery life. The cuff can be shut off by long pressing the Start / Stop button or it will automatically shut off after about a minute of inactivity. Overall I am satisfied with the WBP202 and hope it will last for several years. I recommend the Square Trade warranty Amazon offers which kicks in after the two year manufacturer warranty.

Bluetooth okay! Works well!
I was in a search of an alternative bp monitor since the one I have is quite older and I want faster way to record the readings. So I found this Biolight electronic bp. It arrived on time and I have three pictures here. First photo shows how it compares size wise to an average mouse. Totally wireless, no soft tube for inflating, no extra wires for power. It does come with a separate short cable so you can charge the lithium battery. Battery power holds quite well. I like that it has no other wires, it will make it easier to bring along with me if I do need to.I have two screenshots of the BP tracer app. Interface with my Android phone is very fast . My phone is an Android phone version 7.0. To pair bluetooth, activate your phone's bluetooth, then turn on the bp machine, do a quick press to turn on and press stop, so it continues on pairing first. The BP tracker app conveniently shows quite fast the two devices are properly paired. There are two ways to activate bp cuff inflation, either push the start button on the machine itself, or if you open the bp tracker app, press the start measure button. I like that the transmission of readings is fast and quick no need to separately push the data from the device. As long as the machine and the phone are properly paired, it will transmit the data to the bp tracker app. If reading is too high, it will show the numbers in red. if it is average then it will record in black font color. It will display the data in list form or graph form. You can also further customize info of the patient, if you want to input weight, height, photo. But I just choose to leave it blank. So far I am very satisfied with it, makes me more inclined to frequently check my bp throughout the day as needed. For awhile I was thinking of getting a wearable bp watch..I am so glad I did not go for that. This electronic upper arm monitor is what I prefer more.

Very reliable BP monitor
I used to have a Bauer BP monitor that I had for 6 years but it finally gave up on me but it did serve me right all those years, so I went On the haunt for inexpensive option aka nonbrand name alternative, so I’ve been searching and I found that one, so I had to put it for a test first to make sure how accurate it is, so I have in my clinic a mercury BP monitor and I went and used it on my self and couple of colleagues and the readings were pretty accurate, only differ by max 1-2 points, so far I’m very happy with and I’ll be updating my review as I use it l, but so far I love it and I like the little app that you can download and do the readings wirelessly, the only thing I dislike is that it takes longer than my usual 6 years old to do a reading but at least it’s accurate.. recommended

Easy to use with or without app
I have been testing this Bluetooth BP monitor daily for a few days now.Setup: very easy, just plug charge and use. If you want, use the app to track trends. This can be done for more than one person in the same account.Accuracy: good so far. My readings were compared to a different automated cuff and a manual cuff with stethoscope. Readings have been within a few mmHg every time. Seems to read on the low side for me but only by a few points.Looks: Amazing. The backlight and overall appearance are excellent. I did not mind the start/stop button on the side as other reviewers noted. The cuff is medium size so unless the person is very large it should work fine.Function: I found it very easy to setup and use. If I had my tech challenged father using it, I would probably skip the app, but a usb to wall and just have him use it that way. He could learn to use the app I guess but probably would prefer to keep a paper diary of the readings anyway.Overall very happy with it. Will update regarding durability later on.
