Powerful adhesive on plastic
I used this on a plastic loft hatch swivel catch which had snapped. Replacement hatch would have been ยฃ70. Followed instructions completely including making surfaces rough and leaving 24 hours to "cure". Now works perfectly and therefore worth the ยฃ8 expenditure. Since the catch is not on show I used a generous amount of glue. The loft hatch is made of "oily" flexible plastic.

Excellent for motorcycle repairs / jobs....
I used this to do a minor motorcycle fairing repair to stick a small piece of broken fairing edge onto its mating surface, and also to fit an LED from my heated grips into an LED holder and out of a hole in the handlebar cowl on a Honda ST1100. It didn't disappoint. It is easy to use and the instructions are clear. It bonds very well and it set in place quickly although to fully dry/cure it is best to leave it 24hrs. It dries nicely and doesn't expand out of gaps like cheaper stuff. I trust JB weld products having used a steel epoxy before. Excellent value...there is enough in a tube for multiple uses...

Super, strong, (but thin and runny), epoxy. Stuck my plastic together.
Hi, Was desperate for something good because we snapped off one of our two door catches on the microwave; this meant that the microwave would not work. A new same model is ยฃ150! The catches are miserably thin plastic just begging to get snapped off. I am very happy to report that this epoxy weld sets hard as glass and sticks to the plastic catch marvelously. Microwave now working again perfectly! Actually the epoxy is slow setting, so firstly I stuck the catch in position with superglue (although the surface area was so rubbish that superglue alone would not have held for long). I do recommend this epoxy, it did the trick superbly. However, for anyone who thinks that it will be a thick mix (as e.g. araldite) and stay in place, then be warned, it runs like water! so I recommend that you bear that in mind and get the area prepared to contain the epoxy wherever it needs to stay. It will run straight off of any level surface, hence only 4 stars.

Good value and does the job.
This epoxy seems to work very well. Used on repairing a plastic car part- the bond seems very strong. This epoxy is much better than using contact adhesive where strength really matters. It takes about 15 mins to begin setting on a winter day. It's probably safest to leave for at least 3 hours before using the mended item and is fully cured after 24 hours. As with all glues, make sure all parts are dry and grease free.

Used it once used it a million times
Works great every single time. Just make sure you thoroughly mix it, it will go a consistent translucent yellowish colour. First time it's ever happened, the syringe had a crack in it, so it just went everywhere. Maybe just have a check around the casing first.

A MUST HAVE FOR LAWN EQUIPMENT PLASTIC REPAIRS
This is one of the best products i have used for plastic crack repairs on lawn and garden equipment! Make sure to follow instructions and this product will work wonders for you. Good for cracked plastics and to keep cracks from spreading. I highly recommend you try this if you are in need of plastic repair. Quick tip if you use painters tape on the outside of the cracks and fill with this epoxy from the back side you will get a nice clean outside fix.

Impressive product that gets the job done.
I ordered this product to help glue the plastic shell of my laptop back together. The 2 plastic pieces of the screen had begun to separate near the hinge where the pressure of opening and closing was the greatest. It was annoying and kept prying apart more and more. I figured the plastic would crack and break before long if I didn't find a fix. Upon receiving the PlasticWeld, I opened the package, tore a flap of the cardboard Amazon box that it came in off, and grabbed my laptop. Used sandpaper to rough up the plastic where I needed to glue it back together which also cleared out some of the old adhesive the manufacturer originally used. Used the cardboard as a mixing tray, squirted out a good bit of the weld mix onto the cardboard and mixed it all up with the provided wooden stick. Once mixed, I positioned the laptop where the plastic pieces were pulling apart and then used the wooden stick to swab the weld onto both pieces of plastic. After thoroughly coating both pieces I closed the laptop and pushed the 2 pieces of plastic together. After wiping off the excess weld which oozed out, I stuck the laptop under the couch cushion where I was sitting and ate my lunch figuring my weight would hold the pieces securely together while it set up. Bout 30 minutes later I pulled her out and saw no separation of the parts and left the laptop to cure overnight. After that, I have been using the laptop on a daily basis and have seen no issues from that area again. Strong bond that is resisting the tension of opening, closing, and constantly adjusting the laptop screen. I cannot say that this product will work well for all applications, but it sure did the trick for my limited needs and I can think of times in the past that it would have fixed a product that I ended up throwing away.
