Can someone please tell me the depth of the actual mantlepiece of the Chadwick...i'm assuming it's narrower than the hearth? (thanks!!!)

Both are 30cm. Warning - be aware there are no spares available for this unit so if it goes wrong your gubbed.

Are parts this available for this electric fire?

To try and get a replacement motor for the log effect on this model I phoned Dimplex and was told that there are no spare parts for this model but they offered me a 'good discount' (their words) on a new model. I told them that if they had made it clear up front that there were no spares I wouldn't have bought the fire in the first place - no effect.

Its more cream n tho it loks good its v loud!
