Best bat
I play table tennis 5 days a week, mostly doubles but some singles. I love the game. I tend to replace my bat every few months because somehow I chip the rubber. This bat delighted me the minute I held it in my hand and I haven't even played with it yet. I am confident it will serve me well. Thank you for the thought put into its manufacture.

watching out for chips and tears.
At present I find the bat a bit on the heavy side, probably because my 2 previous Cornilleau 2000 were excellent until they suffered too easily from chips and tears this I put down to catching them on my Cornilleau carrying bag. I have now added a soft covering to prevent further damage.

A superb bat ideal for the player who can handle spin, both giving and receiving
My wife and I own the 3000 and the 2000 versions of these Excell carbon PHS bats. I use the 3000 and my wife uses the 2000 but by swapping bats it is possible to do a double comparison - the handling of each bat when delivering and also the response that it makes when receiving from the same opponent. Both bats are equally well made and are light and responsive in use. The 3000 has a softer feel to the rubbers and this enables the player with more knowledge of spin to use it to good effect. The downside of course, is that it also responds to the opponent's spin so the player who uses this bat must be able to control spin both in giving and receiving. The 2000 is less responsive to spin, both giving and receiving and the rubbers have a stiffer feel. This bat suits a player who prefers a straighter approach to delivery with more emphasis upon directional play rather than relying more upon spin. The bat is also a better defence against an opponent's spin for the same reasons. As a more experienced player than my wife, and one who learnt to play against and from players who used spin, I have found the 3000 to be a bat that fits my play naturally. The 2000 has proved to be a good choice for my wife. It is harder to use spin effectively against her when she uses the 3000 and I use the 2000 simply because it is more difficult to generate spin against her with the 2000. However, when sufficient spin was generated, my wife found it difficult to control the ball as it hit the 3000.In conclusion, both bats are superb and preference should be based upon the use and knowledge of spin as a giver and receiver.

From whipping boy to table tennis wizard...
With the lack of info available on pre-made table tennis bats I took a bit of a punt in choosing this model. I was looking for a bat to help me improve my game and so far have been delighted with my choice. The bat is pretty forgiving but gives pretty good spin which allows both defensive and attacking play. The handle is a good size and length too while the flare towards the actual blade fits my grip very well. One thing I would say is that it's worth getting some bat cleaner too as the surface quickly gets dirty/dusty and this will diminish the ability to impart spin on the ball.Overall well worth the money.

Great bat
Took a little getting used to after the cheap bats that I had used previously, but has improved my game significantly - and I no longer lose so badly to my son!

Plenty spin, of course as well of putting on ...
Plenty spin, of course as well of putting on the spin, it is affected heavily by your opponent's spin - so take care ;-)
