Does what it is meant to do. Measures temperature of food accurately. Mine just died after 9 full years of use. In the 9 years it worked, I can't remember needing to change the battery more than 4 or 5 times. So, I'll be buying it again.

Not too much to say really. It’s a thermometer, it’s really easy to use, open it up, stick it in the thing you want to know the temp of and look at the display! There is an on/off button but it also turns itself on when you open it up and off after a few minutes when you close it. The read out if clear and you can change the readout between Celsius and Fahrenheit. I’ve not compared it with any other thermometers but so far I’ve not had anything more/less cooked than it indicated was going to be the case.

I've only used the thermometer a few times so far but it seems to work really well. It looks kind of plasticy when you take it out of the box but it's pretty nifty. I really like that it turns itself off when you clip the spike back so the battery should last a really long time, unlike many I saw when researching what to buy. The spike itself is thin so it doesn't damage the meat as it goes in. I found that it was quite slow in settling on a temperature at lower temperatures, but very quick (3-4 seconds) when testing something very hot. I put it in boiling water in the kettle to test it and it almost instantly went up to 100 degrees and stayed there. I found it difficult to get the spike out to use it the first time as it clips very tightly. I have to use a knife to lever it out which I worried would damage it but it seems to be OK. It arrived less than 24 hours after ordering which I was very surprised but happy about! I would recommend it as for the price you can't complain about appearance and it works perfectly well.

Perfect .... I bought this one without the magnet on the back ,but glued my own little magnet on and hey presto lol Compact and versatile, reading it is fine ,without the back light Strongly recommend

Bought this to check food is cooked properly in new air fryer. It is ideal and works well. The box has a handy temperature scale showing how hot the food needs to be when cooked properly. The probe folds away for storage so it’s very compact and safe. The only slight issue is the probe clips so firmly into the side of the main body which makes it a little difficult to unclip. Without strong nails to get under the probe I had to use a knife to wedge under it to release it. A slight indentation in the main body to allow leverage would be useful

Great meat thermometer - I cook a lot and I have had three of these and this is the best by far. Quick to give a reading, super easy to use, useful guide along the side so you know what temperature you need, snap it shut and it turns itself off automatically and it even has a slimmer point for thinner pieces. Used it lots and I really like it. I wasn't convinced by meat thermometers as a concept but this one has changed my mind. Update - within 3 months it had stopped working. No idea why, not the batteries but just wouldn't switch on. Loved it until then. Now debating whether to risk buying another one or changing brand.

Had this probe a long time now, regular use, very accurate and still going strong only about £4 when I bought it, Def recommend for budgeteers!

It lasted 2 years before the plastic breaking where the metal probe enters the plastic body. Overall given the price I think this is good seeing as I used it most days, and it seems the vast majority of these digital thermometers have the same flaw. I will probably buy it again, though still looking for something without this weak-point... But at this price, decent.

Mala calidad, ha durado poco.

La única pega es que es poco estable si lo quieres dejar midiendo de manera permanente durante un rato. Pero mide bastante bien y estoy contento con su compra.

Just came and ... is not switching on. The own package was obviously used many times, probably the item was already returned as nonfunctional. Clearly, it was not controlled before delivery, as its nonfunctionality will be evident. Really annoying... Goes back to seller. Fortunately, I shouldn't pay for the return (prime).

Einmal hat es funktioniert, beim zweiten Gebrauch ging es schon nicht mehr. Batterie getauscht, hat auch nichts genutzt. Entsorgt und ein anderes Thermometer gekauft.
