Rust-Oleum Chalk White Furniture Paint 2.5 Litre

Upcycled a very tired looking chest of drawers. Brilliant coverage and finish with one coat, had do two coats on top and drawer fronts as heavily marked. But has saved me hours on sanding and priming. Love it! Won't ever use anything else now.

Like another well known DIY brand, this did exactly as it said on the tin. Good, easy coverage for both coats. We used foam minnie rollers from a smoother finish and also thinned ever so slightly to make sure it was the thickness of single cream before applying. (we've worked with chalk paint before and learnt this is the best consistency) We then topcoated with Rustoleum lacquer which also worked a treat and gave it a good strong finish for use in the kitchen

Top quality paint which goes on smoothly with really great coverage. SO much better than cheaper brands. You get what you pay for. I have bought this brand a few times & would highly recommend it. It's my go-to. Very happy!

This is exactly what it is, as in bright chalky orange. However once on I realised the chalky effect isn't what I wanted, I wanted something brighter. So if you want bright don't go for chalk, but if you do want chalk finish then this is perfect

Found it quite watery but it covered ok and drying time is very quick. The colour is lovely and just what I ordered

I've used Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish paint so many times over the last 4 years, but this just wasn't the same. Despite giving it a good mix to begin with, it was really watery on the first two drawers that I painted. Weirdly, it was then really, really thick on the next 6! It's usually a really easy to spread paint with great coverage, but this was just the opposite. Not sure if it was a dodgy tin or if there's been a change to the paint as a whole. Wasn't too pleased with the result unfortunately, but do still love the brightness of the orange colour.

I find rust-oleum to be very dependable. Amazon happened to have the best price at time of purchase as well. I wanted to white wash a chest I had and mixed a little of the chalk white with water and a little went a long way. I also used it to paint a small shelf with a couple wee drawers just out the tin and again it was a really nice finish and only took a couple of coats. Would recommend.

Best chalk paint I’ve ever used! And such a beautiful colour, especially finished off with the finished wax! I managed to paint a big bookcase, 3 side tables, a TV stand, a coffee table and a dining table with 2 chairs and a bench, all with one tin and with 2 generous coats on everything! Beautiful colour, super quick dry time and nice thick paint, so you don’t end up with drips everywhere! I wouldn’t use another brand for my painting needs now! And I’ve been asked for their recommendation from all my friends and family who love my up cycled furniture! It’s made cheap furniture look expensive!

Bin sehr zufrieden mit der Farbe und der Deckkraft und bin schon fast verzweifelt dabei ein schönes Kreide Orange zu finden den in den Geschäften findet man leider nur die Pastell Farben. Und Preis Mengen Verhältnis ist auch im Ordnung für die Qualität der Farbe. Bin absolut begeistert um kann sie nur weiter empfehlen. 👍
