Harney & SonsWilliamsburg Ginger Cake Blend | Black tea with cloves, cinnamon, and molasses, 20 sachets

A delicious blend from Harney & Sons. This would be one of my go-to flavors from them if it wasn't so expensive. It smells homely and holiday-reminiscent right out of the box, but the flavor is a little milder than expected when actually brewed. I also suggest sweetening it, as the molasses flavor suggests this will be sweet but it isn't.Also, my canister arrived crushed at the top. This was probably a shipping issue and not Harney & Sons' fault, but still a bummer.

This black tea has a flavor reminiscent of old fashioned spice cake. The spice blend and molasses flavors are spot on. I was pleasantly surprised to find this flavor combination in a tea. This is truly a unique tea, and I'm pleased that Harney and Sons has paired up with Williamsburg to produce such a unique flavor. This is one of several heritage and commemorative teas they have offered. I have tried a few, and they have all impressed. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with next!

Love the Christmas flavor of this tea with the hint of orange and ginger. My only gripe is the mild flavor. I want more! Try their Gingerbread Festival too.

I typically love Harney & Sons teas (I have 6 on the shelf right now!) but this one doesn't do it for me. The flavor profile is weaker than I like. But I'll keep trying because I love several of this brand (I'm talking to you blueberry green, hot cinnamon & Paris).

I really was excited for this tea. It says GINGER CAKE which sounds amazing....sadly it is not. I love ginger and gingerbread but this tea has no flavor and is very lackluster! Tastes NOTHING like ginger or gingerbread at all. There is little to no smell and has extremely weak flavor. The tin is nice but that seemingly is what you are paying for. You could buy better tea at your local grocery for 1.99. I am very, very disappointed! Had I not opened it I would have returned. It is a total waste of money. Harney & Sons should give a refund on this as it is terrible. Don't waste your hard earned money, instead pass on this one.

I didn't read the listing right. I thought I was buying loose leaf tea + they're sachets.I just made a cup of it + it's among my favorite flavors right now. The sachets themselves are well made + the tea is wonderful. It really tastes like ginger cake. I added a splash of French Vanilla creamer + it's absolutely delicious.
